I think the WiiU will succeed due to its gimmicks and wide range of audience. I still think it will be more for casual gamers than hardcore gamers since most of them own other consoles.

New adult gamers love gimmicks.

Nintendo on life support? yeah, i'm sure the huge 3DS sells and the Wii still selling has them worried, not to mention WiiU will be revealed at E3 (final version)

PSVita is selling horrible, even the 3DS didn't have such a terrible launch, and SONY can't afford to reduce the price this soon.

And this are the facts, deal with them.

Nintendo is under life support with the 3ds.The Wii and DS are dead.The WiiU probably it will fail because it is last gen(maybe it is a bit more powerful than XBOX360 but nothing big),horrible controller for games,and the big price(probably 350~450$).The 3ds sell good in japan,but nintendo lose money with every 3ds after the price drop,and the software sales are very poor.

It is very clear that Nintendo is under danger because the only thing have left for them is the 3ds.I don't think 3DS is enough to save Nintendo from fail or even better to be third party support for Sony.......because that exactly is 3DS ....a life support.

Aren't you tired of getting your ass handed to you on a daily basis? If you have any self-respect left, stop claiming the Vita is crushing the 3DS and face the cold, hard facts : 3DS is a great succes, while the Vita has had an abysmal debut.

Whatever happens now, the 3DS will end up on top. The best Sony can hope for, is a DS/PSP scenario, and as of now we are very far from it.

Dude..really now..the only reason the 3DS was having a slow start because it came out in the SLOWEST month for video games...Feb (for Japan) and Mar fo everywhere else...Now Vita comes out in the best time f the year for any console and it bombs big time..kinda reminds me of Titanic...it was the best of its time and yet it fails on its maiden voyage

This is a repeat of the late 90's, when everyone was saying that the gameboy was keeping Nintendo on life support, that Pokemon was the only reason Nintendo wasnt bankrupt. Ahhhhh good times. Thanks for bringing back such glorious memories AtariKid.
