[QUOTE="Ibacai"]Depends on whether or not the games would be good. If they are like normal anime games then I say trash them all. But these would be my chooses. Berserk - Yeah, played the DC one and it was actually really good. Hellsing - This one would be hard to do. Who's viewpoint do you follow? Mission based or free roaming? Gantz - Started watching this the other day. I think it would make a good game. Record of the Lodoss War - Old school DnD action.Felous1

They could make Hellsing just like The Darkness. First person or third with "powers". Or make it Devil May Cryish...

The hard part would still be the viewpoint that is followed. To stay true to the manga and anime it should follow the lead character, Seras. However, most people would want to play Alucard. And making it into a linear game such as Darkness looks to be would probably seem out of place. I just don't know.

Imports are irrelevant, it's the quality of the game that matters. The vast majority of anime based games are horrendous, just like a movie based game. While there are exceptions, most games based on prexisting IPs are just done for fan service and a quick buck, and even half the time, they don't offer the fan anything that isn't obtainable from the original source.

The majority of games in general suck so that's to be expected. I never said that every anime game is golden, I simply stated that there are a few that I personally would consider great games. Either way, you tried dismissing imports when I posted them so I had to call you out on that. Import games still can possess qualities of great games so they count regardless.

The fact you had go above and beyond to point out IMPORTS just goes to further my original point...

I'm sorry, that point was? Last I checked, imports are still games, correct? You never said anything pointing to anime games solely released in America nor Europe. You simply said video games and I showed them to you. If you want to keep denying that's your problem but it's simply silly to deny imports as viable choices to counter your argument.

Anime originated in Japan. So, there are going to be more imports involving anime then games the US or Europe have. How is it going "above and beyond" to show a game? Because it's not released in your country? I'm confused.

I think Semi thinks that showing these imports were hard to find and I had to dig for them. Truthfully, it's as simply as going to playasia...

Considering bleach and dragonball already has games out this generation, your list is downsized.

My list would be- 1. Guyver *Something that resembles the older stuff. Not that 26 episode crap*. 2. A 3rd berserk game 3. A good federation vs zeon like game for gundam 4. A hellsing game, maybe?

I just find it odd. I don't have to dig at all to find good anime games but then again I do import.

Now you need to stop twisting my words. My point was I don't like Anime + Video games combining to make some horrible spawn of Satan that does neither media any favors. Japan is the home of anime and as many people see it, video games. It only makes sense you could point out imports that aren't available world wide. The point is that there aren't many good anime based games out there, especially in the US, and the fact that you only pointed out 5 good games (which are your opinion) doesn't really qualify as a "quite a few" good games. That's more like a "only a few".

Out of what I'm watching right now that hasn't been done yet according to my memory, I'd say Black Lagoon has the best shot.
