4 reasons why MGS4 will never go to 360 (56k)

The point of this thread is to show that Konami has no intention of porting MGS4 to another console.

Reason 1:

If you go up the stairs during the act 1 mission briefing with the Mk. II, you will find a PSP and a PS3 lying on a table.

Reason 2:

Snake uses a DS3 to control the Mk. II, also during the cutscene where Snake meets with Otacon for the first time, Otacon tells Snake that the Mk. II is equipped with a cell processor inside.

Reason 3:

The famous Disk swapping joke from Otacon. During the codec Otacon talks about the advantages of the Bluray disc of the PS3 system.

Reason 4:

PS1 reference between Snake and Phsyco Mantis during the Screaming Mantis boss fight.

This just proves that Konami themselves left us the message that there is Hardly any chance of MGS4 coming to PC and specially to the 360.

Also Kojima himself has said many many times the game is a PS3 exclusive and Sony would not let this one go.

Almost everything can be changed, except the last one. Btw i don't know if Microsoft would like a game promoting Ipod(an apple product) on their system.

What does your friends buying a PS3 have to do with a single player game, like FF13. For all you know, BTW, FF13 could have trophies.

I am undecided what platform I'm getting it on, but my general rule of thumb is I Buy the game for the LEAD Platform. For instance, Bioshock I already played, WWE Smackdown I got on 360. I just want the SMOOTHEST Experience possible. The only time I break that rule is when the general media say it's better on the NON lead platform.

Those aren't very good reasons. I'm sure he could replace all that stuff with 360 related items.

I can't believe people are talking about. MGS4 isn't going to the XBox 360. Not to say that the 360 will never get a MGS game, as that is still possible, but it won't be MGS4. I would rather Konami do an exclusive MGS for the 360 that has nothing to do with MGS4 or Snake to be honest. Snake is old news now if you ask me. Lets see a new characters in the same story setting.

Also, Konami has never been big XBox supporters. We got Silent Hill, Winning Eleven Soccer, DDR, Hell Boy, Rumble Rose and the awful American Idol Karaoke game. Remember Bomberman Zero? Yikes. A lot of bad games. Only Silent Hill and Winning Eleven Soccer are worth a look.

Give us Castlevania, Suikoden, Zone of the Ender, Contra and Viewiful Joe. That's what I want to see on the 360. You noticed Bomberman Zero never made it to the PS3 right.:roll: Sure we get an exclusive, but it sucked and Konami knew it I'm sure. They will say that 360 gamers didn't buy their games, so they won't make as many now.:lol: What a joke.
