4 reasons why MGS4 will never go to 360 (56k)

MGS 4 looks like an n64 game on the ps3, it would of looked good if it was on the Xbox 360.jeffdoomsday

None of those reasons are why it won't be coming to a 360. If it were coming to a 360 all they would have to do is replace everything that was once a playstation reference with 360 references. Don't get me wrong, it's probably never coming to 360, but it's not for those reasons.Vaasman

How would they reference the PSP and the psycho mantis look back at the PSone?

The point of this thread is to show that Konami has no intention of porting MGS4 to another console.

Reason 1:

If you go up the stairs during the act 1 mission briefing with the Mk. II, you will find a PSP and a PS3 lying on a table.

Reason 2:

Snake uses a DS3 to control the Mk. II, also during the cutscene where Snake meets with Otacon for the first time, Otacon tells Snake that the Mk. II is equipped with a cell processor inside.

Reason 3:

The famous Disk swapping joke from Otacon. During the codec Otacon talks about the advantages of the Bluray disc of the PS3 system.

Reason 4:

PS1 reference between Snake and Phsyco Mantis during the Screaming Mantis boss fight.

This just proves that Konami themselves left us the message that there is Hardly any chance of MGS4 coming to PC and specially to the 360.

Also Kojima himself has said many many times the game is a PS3 exclusive and Sony would not let this one go.

Also there are so many sony products and advertising in this game so yeah they would have to cut out so many thngs and then re add things to do such a port which I dont think Konami is going to do. Who knows though could happen a year or so from now but then again, Kojima did say it was exclusively for ps3 and he was the one who stopped konami from porting it over.

But it would be impossible for teh MGS4 to ever go to Xbox 360. I mean...no MGS title has ever been on a non-Sony system...:|

Refrences through codec can be removed
