4 types of ps3 haters, which one are you (POLL)

This isnt supposed to be a bash, but more of a analysis of the phenomenon thats known as the ps3 hate, I personally do not like sony AND i dont like the ps3 hardware, but its not blind hate, i am a disatisfied former customer who got ripped off, so i have a good reason, but there are others.

Well, it is a bash because you're giving us 4 reasons as to why the PS3 "sucks".

The word "hatred" is too harsh... but the price, the Blu-ray, and the limited gaming library is not good for Sony right now.  I'm not exactly made of money here and jamming Blu-ray down our throats is sort of working, but do we need it now?  Not really.

See... the PS2 was great because it was affordable and it had a format which was established... plus the plethora of games.  The PS3 hasn't convinced me, yet.

well i cant think of any other reason why somebody would legitimately hate the ps3, im not going to include "because the design is awful" or "the name is bad", it has to be real reasons, and these ones seem to be the most accepted 

Forgot "racist"...hate because it's successful and not an american product.  If you hadn't noticed all the hate comments towards japan and the japanese people themselves then you should.

I suspect racist centaments accounts for about 50% of the hating on PS prodcuts and Sony themselves.

I don't like it because it's $600 and I can count the number of games that appeal to me on it with one hand..

I'll end up getting one when it's really cheap though. Gotta get my Tekken fix.

There are guys who hate it for fear , This machine is undeniably the most powerful one in almost every way :P

Some day Ps3 Graphics will pwn 360 graphics

Perhaps the ps3's motion sensing capabilities will rival the wii ones

some day there will be no more  "teh ps3 has no games"

And with the eventual price drop and sales catch up what will haters do or say ...?

i didnt forget, my first option says "because they are too japanese OR because they make bad products" someone who votes for that option either doesnt like the products, or dont like the race or culture of japan, or is just more patriotic toward the economics of their own country's economic success

I love japan, and sony do make good systems, just not from their own minds.

DRM, Root Kits, The assasination of Lik-Sang, their arrogant attitude.....Expensive game console, so they can push their proprietary format....

I hate PS fanboys, the ones who talk trash on everybody, from back since PS2. You made me buy the crap you call PS2. I HATE YOU! HATE! HATE! HAATTTTEEEEEEE!

Ok, that's out of my system. 

the good news is, atleast now ms can make a profit and stay in the business cause if they were to leave, then i'd bet most people would just go back to pc gaming

shhhhhh! Dont let the fanboys know you can read!!!! For some reason the Sony clan thinks that the PS3 is only getting flak on just gaming sites. God forbid a notable business magazine produce a column about Sony and their lack of focus on reality this gen....Just let the fanboys think people dont approve of the PS3 simply because its a Sony, not because its a bad product this time around...

i like sony products,i just can't stand fanboys (cows,lemmings, sheep), the only ones who seem civilized are hermits because atleast they answer your questions.

cows are the worst fan-boys, then lemmings, then sheep.

i buy all consoles every gen but i only buy them when they have games i want to play, (right now i only own a xbox360 which has gone for repair, crappy hardware :evil: but i hope that next year i have money to buy a ps3 and a wii),and i hate when fan-boys say your opinion sucks especially since you have the same console as them and payed the same as them. 

For ex: i said that 20% of xbox live friends had problems with their x360 and they said i was lying, why would i lie about something that's sad?

I though this debate is about Playstation 3 and so far, the PS3 is nowhere near being a successful product. And well yeah, half of every electronic bit you can imagine comes from Japan, so I don't know why anyone would hate Japan. Sony on the other hand is a company just like Microsoft, if people don't like Sony products, they just simply don't like them, it doesn't mean they hate Japan.
