40 gb PS3 onsale on Italian website

kingtito has a hard time accepting this I think. Maybe he is scared the 40 gb PS3 will help Sony catch up to M$. Why are you so quick to dismiss?

Why would a major website want to BUY 40 gig hard drives themselves and put it in more expensive consoles and then sell it for a lower price? That is freaking ludacris. Kingtito.. without using fanboy goggles, look back at what you said and realistically view how silly it is that someone would do that. This is a major website, not a single users blog.

Where did I dismiss the rumor of a 40g model? I'm talking about the fact that YOU people actually believe that a 40g is out and for sale on an Italian website. Even though it hasn't been announced nor is it even listed on Sony's website.

That's my point. I know a 40g PS3 will be coming out. Sony is desperate and frankly even that won't help them. Without a continuous stream of good games it's still not worth buying.

and BTW if you look at those pics , you can see it doesnt have wi-fispringz300

according to the pic from the FCC story it does, theres a wifi logo along with the new product number and where its being manufactured.... it'll be 40 GB , 2 usbs, no memory card slots, and with wifi..... it will be released in conjunction with the Spiderman 3 blu ray at the end of this month, they'll probably announce it in a week or two. i think thats a nother reason ratchet and clank was pushed back...

This on the other hand is popping up in more and more places.
