40% would be higher than the 360 failure but I believe the failures are only located in belgium vs. the 360 worldwide so u can't even begin to compare them. Either way if u guys but all fanboyness aside it's truly BS we get jerked around by M$ and sony with any defective consoles at all.

Translated from dutch to english by Dictironary.com : Since 10 October 2007 40GB the version of the PlayStation 3 console in the winkelrekken has lain. These are with its €399 most budgetvriendelijke version of Sony's youngest generation game consoles. Sony is there in successful the production costs of these PS3 press and this way the glove Xbox 360 elite console to take against Microsoft's. Also in Belgium it runs quite with sale of the PlayStation 3 40GB, thus a source confirmed Game Mania at shop barracks us. Unfortunately also the first faulty consoles seem emerge. According to the same source more than 40% of the sold PlayStation 3 40GB consoles have failure and has been returned. All contended them with problems to play Games and read Blu-ray films. If it concerns here an isolated case and only these shop barracks did not come in possession of a cargo 40GB's of inferior qualities are immediately clear. However, one has weet of these problems at Sony according to the source and is one possibly in search of a solution.

no but if I asked you to type one sentence in my language... what would be the answer??

Sold didnt look good in the sentence thats why I choose solded... but now that you brought it up I understand that its wrong.. English should change its dictionary because solded sounds much better in the sentence than sold.. :D

My mistake, didn't know English wasn't your language. I just mistook you for every other person who butchers words around here.

I think this just proves that you CAN'T get PC-level gaming in a little console box without sacrificing hardware quality.

You need SPACE and VENTILATION.

PC towers give you that - VCR-sized Consoles don't.

You can't cram a PC into a VCR case and expect it not to overheat and meltdown or a hundred other things.

I own a Xbox 360 and it's sad that that thing heats up my living room better then a kerosene heater...

Now PS3's look like the same cheap hardware.

It is very low. This speaks directly about the new 40GB model. People should wait for some better confirmation and sources about this before getting too excited.

Don't be too hard on yourself. English is a pretty hard language to speak and write, so I hear. I've had a few years of German, and I imagine I would incorrectly translate things, too.

But I digress: I imagine this defect came from one factory that had incorrectly calibrated machines. Just a theory, of course.

I wonder how many lems are going to jump at the chance to bash a defective PS3, I would call it stupid to even say anything giving the 360's WORLDWIDE LONG deffective consoles, oh well fanboys always shoot themselves in the foot.

Speaking English isn't too hard for me, my problem is writing English.

The vocabulary is there, I just often can't recall how to write certain words or which to use. (like when to use then or than)

I believe there might be some truth to your remark, I can imagine this being the result of an assembly problem for batch of the 40GB version.

Sounds like a local issue, don't think I'll make much of a dent on the "defect rate" worldwide.

Yeah right a Dutch site is claiming they got word froma Belgian retailer that there are defective PS3's... Why the retailer itself isn't mentioning anything about it on their own site? Or any other Belgian site/retailer isn't mentioning defective PS3's???
