4months old and there is a longer line for the wii at circuit. good job nintendo

seeing and hearing that their is still a buzz going on the wii, i woke up early in the moring, about 7:00am and drove to the nearest Circuit city.  To my surprise there were 5ppl in line already since 6:00am and otehrs were waiting inside their car. 45min before  10:00pm, there were about 40 in line. 30min before the store opened, one of the employee started giving out vouchers to secure a system and some of them didnt recieve one because they came too late.  Obviously they were pissed. i would be. lol

OMG wii is by far the most successful system ever. You could think that the system was just release a week ago but, 4month old and there is a line and it sold within 5min.  i mean there were more ppl out here waiting for the wii compared to the U.K. lauch for the PS3. 

So, cows and other mister know it all, Do you think wii is still a fad, gimmick? another thing dont say that its sells will die down and ps3 will take over. You know thats far from the truth.  If the wii doenst have an killer app as of right now and it still sells like this, well imagine what would happen if all those NINTENDO brand games starts coming out starting with POKEMON ONLINE.  The sells will continue to get stronger. Not even a price drop from ps3 wouldnt not help cuz the fact is that nintendo will also answer with a price drop and still make profits per system sold.  OMG 199.00 for a Wii console, another reason for ppl to camp out.

Not such a bad choice. SEGA are good supporters of the Virtual Console. But I don't like Sword of Vermilion lol

Still does not change the fact I can play Twilight Princess on the Gamecube. Sega games? :lol: I guess they get one game that does not suck. Good luck finding serious, dedicated Madden competition in leagues and tournaments for prizes where they are playing the Wii version. Everything else, flops, flops, flops. Virtual Console? That's alright, I enjoyed that stuff back during it's original run.

That's the stupidest thing i've heard in a while.  Nintendo is pumping out Wii's at a good rate.  I work at Super Target, and we get them in every sunday, and not just a few.  We get at least 250-300.  Now, take into account that we're only one store.  Nintendo is producing at least a million a month.  That's not slacking.  The demand is high, and therefore, supply is low.

If it takes a person months to get their hands on a Wii, they probably do not want it terribly urgently and will be content to wait until they have a chance to pick up one without trying too hard.

If someone wants a Wii really badly, it will not take them that long to get it one way or another.

Seriously, an 8.6 is a GREAT game. You can call it a flop because of the hype, but even I know that Zelda : TP is a great game, 8.8 is a nice score.TekkenMaster606

It's an exazageration, but it's probly closer to reality then most people want to think... the lines most places in europe were about 50 to 150 people... which is not that long.  

And the best part?

The best part is that if Nintendo needs a sales spike, they can instantly manufacture one. "Wii Music". "Wii Fitness".

If they maintain a level of quality with these products (which will inevitably be dismissed as 'non-games' ) that pleases the mass market, each successive release will be more potent than the last.

heres something funny.

PS3 lovers and owners own a Wii console, BUT Wii lovers and owners don't own PS3. WOW.. PS3 is on its way to the HALL OF.......... next to sega 32x, sega saturn and the beloved dreamcast. well at least sega isnt monolopozing this category since sony is 5months away from it. SEGA watch out, you got a competition. 

Don't think the Wii is selling THAT good,Nintendo simply can't ship enough of them to stores,it's not like stores are getting 50 units every weeks,more like 5 if there lucky.

Maybe Nintendo is being like Apple..they can't handle success lol
