So in 2009 there was an RTS spin-off by a now defunct studio and an expansion to a 2007 game while in 2011 we're getting a remastered version of Combat Evolved...... so what the hell are you getting at?
As far as main entries go, there was Combat Evolved in 2001, Halo 2 in 2004, Halo 3 in 2007, Halo: Reach in 2010 and Halo 4 in 2012. Everything in between have been extras for the fans.
Wars was released to honor Halo's beginning as an RTS before the shift to TPS which then shifted to FPS. ODST was an expansion that showed what happened during Halo 2 while Master Chief was off of Earth. And Anniversary is being released simply because it IS the 10 year anniversary of Combat Evolved.
We can claim milkage if there's a Halo game released in 2013, 2014 and so on. But for now, I'm not calling anything of the sort.
