None of those buggers will buffer for me, my connection must be weak today.
The thing about KZ2 is it's exactly what I would expect from a high utilisation game on PS3. We have already seen what RSX (custom 7800) is capable of and now they are adding additional detail using the SPE's in Cell.
I'm not impressed by KZ2 screenshots but it is to be expected, Cell isn't going to improve the resolution of memory dependant visuals such as textures. What it will do is add additional shaders and effects, which can be seen by the sheer amount of post processing effects in this game.
In short I'm not impressed by stills but it looks impressive in motion.

Looked like 4x AA to me...and i'm more of a pc gamer than a console gamer :P
I'm pretty sure its 2xFSAA.I remember the dev at GG confirming this at one of their demonstations a while back.It looks good, but it still doesn't look like it has that "wow" factor in gameplay to push it over the edge.
I hope I am wrong, but I still think AA, and I can't wait to play it and be wrong.

what im more impressed about is the atmospherre in the game they did an incredible job, the wind hollowing in the back is incredible as well as the Gun sounds how they reflect off the walls.

This is off topic, but man I wish I knew how to make animated gifs, I've been doing a little research on it and it doesn't seem too hard but more so time consuming.....oh well one of these days I'll make an amazing Socom gif.
the rendering quality is the highest i have even seen in a video game, it just looks too real for a game.

Lets hope Sony gives out this 60million dollar engine to 2nd and 3rd party developers to make games, I want GTA5 with kz2 engine, wow....

Cool :). I don't bother with that stuff (no patience for it :P). My bro Treal is a master of PhotoShop and ImageReady though. Those two are perfect for making awesome graphics and gifs.

KZ2 and Prototypw are the only two games to utilize 7.1. But I can pretty much guarantee that KZ2's sound design will be better overall.

Not intending to start a arguement just stated what I feel whenever I watch KZ2 multiplayer gameplay videos.
Damn it looks mediocre and Im not talking about the "graphics", should stick to hyping it for the graphics and maybe the campaign because this game really is on the fence between AA and A... its deffinetely not getting AAA seriously people enough of the already everyone I have spoken to over this game is either a fanboy or a graphics *insterst five letter word* most of the time its both.
Before you ask I have played the BETA and I had more fun with shadowrun.

Yep, I can't freaking wait. I hope it's uncompressed or lossless audio since my receiver can take advantage of it, but I'm not holding my breath.
the more vids i see regarding KZ2 the more i get hyped... its really shaping up nicely (visually) and bot being in the beta, cant wait till it gets released next Feb.

Nah, in a recent dev diary they said it's 4xAA Quinxcunx. Also, unlike other quinxcunx AA where the edges become blurry from far away, they eliminated that.
