Microsoft Paid SE and several other devs to rush their RPGs so they could convince the consumer that the 360 is the new JRPG console to get, thats probably the origin of many jrpg Flops.
Hopefully they turn out well and we don't have to wait until 2011 before anyway of them to see the light of day only for them all be mediocre. Cos if they all turn out well, like A quality or more I might just have to buy them all, nothing beats a good RPG :D.

Well, it depends what you exactly call "flop". Yup, here on GS they are flops, but that doesn't change that the overall JRPG fanbase has enjoyed games like Blue Dragon, Tales of Vesperia and even Infinite Undiscovery.

I dont personally want to see another wild arms Sony has butchered that series with the release of 4 and 5, and they gave us a butchered remake of the original game *alter code F* and legend of legaia they butchered the sequal by having it have nothing to do with the original and giving Pikorion the development of it instead of contrail.

Wow, I didn't expect to see this much awareness and love for LoD :D. But I mean really, out of 5 freakin games, can't one be a sequel Sony lol? This is excluding White Knight Chronicles too. I wonder if they're counting The Agency and/or DC Universe Online. Or if this is exclusive to Japanese-sty|e and development.

Lol, the only JRPGs that have caught & maintained my interest this gen are: White Knight Chronicles, Eternal Sonata, and Valkyrie Chronicles. All have good stories, innovative/fun gameplay, near-to-none technicle issues, & non-feminine looking main characters (not that that's an issue with with me though). Let's hope Sony and Level 5 deliver, and SE can redeem themselves in the eyes of some gamers (they don't have to with me).
