Since it's the same exact game it should be no more than 50 cents.

Just like movies re-released on DVD were 50 cents. Or digitally downloaded music is 50 cents per CD.In that case, I bought my NGC or my brother bought his PS2 at their high prices, since they've both had price cuts, we should ask to get the difference back.
It's too much for impulse buys. Perfectly fine for games that you want/never played/are actually freaking good.

This is exactly how I feel. I feel the games are an alright price for the ones I want, but I'm not going to keep shelling out $5, $6, $8, and $10 bucks for games I am curious about.
Bottom line is Nintendo would actually get MORE of my money if the prices were a bit lower. It's all about perception.
Wrong. If Nintendo lowers the prices, they wouldn't make more money, because the prices would be lower. The current prices and demand are at an equilibrium.
Wrong for you...right for me. I'd take a chance on more games if they were lower in price. I gave space harrier 2 a chance at 8 bucks and I feel used. Now I'm hesistant to waste $8 on a game I'm not sure of. I would be trying more games at a cheaper rate, but ultimately spending more money....see how that works?
