It's because the Xbox had a resolution advantage while the Wii didn't.The xbox wasted more power when it ran a game at 720P.And i heard doom 3 ran below 480P.:lol:

I think that once you get into hd graphics, the differences between stonger and weaker graphical capabilites become less pronounced, while the best pc graphics are better than x360 graphics I dont think it is as big of a leap as jumping to 16 bit gaming from 8 bit was

I don't believe there is a sufficient word to describe how stupid he is.

Same when moving from 16bit to 32/64bit and to the PS2/NGC/Xbox era. Each gen, the graphical jump can be seen with the naked eye even if you are a casual......However, next gen, even if 720 and PS4 comes out costing $600 and is 400x more powerful, unless you are a huge technicalfile and can descern the differences btween 500 million polys to 1000 million polys, the differences between 1x AA to 4x AA etc, etc, most casuals and mainstream, like the PS3, will take one look at the price, faint, and say ,"No...FARKING....WAY my friend" and once again, go buy the Wii U instead! Sorry, by this time and gen, graphical leap just can not be seen with the naked eye, at least the 90% of the mainstream and casual public that make up the majority of the market anyways. These harda corda gamags may scream like they are the majority, but they arn't and all three's hardware will be very close to each other this time around. The days of "razor to the razor blade" business model is long gone.

That's great and all, and I support Nintendo's decision not to push hardware like the other two in favor of trying new things, but I still think it's funny this is even a topic worth discussing. Current gen consoles are so out dated this should be a given.

Because its common knowledge that a console's successor will be more powerful than its predecessor.

The only reason why the Wii-U is getting dumped on is because Nintendo is playing "catch up".

And don't give me that Tekken CPU bull****. A newer CPU at a lower clock is better than the CPU in 360/PS3.
