How did you feel when Journey took every major GOTY award last year and Halol 4 got nothing?

You mock indies, yet, people seem to love them, 90 for Gone Home on metacritic, 84 for Faster Than Light. Papers, Please with 86, DayZ mod going Standalone, and more.
Just what we want, a $400 new console with TEH 8GB GDDR5 so that we can play ...... some low budget indie games that could run on a PS Vita
Seriously, not all indies are bad but using them to carry the system like Sony are is pathetic. Expecially when 99% are on PC/ Vita too. Makes the PS4 totally irrelevant
Would like to know more about Everyones gone to the Rapture.....particularly why the CryEngine 3 is being used on it As for them being Indie.....dont really care, good games critic wise are still good games. Not to mention Everyone's gone to the Rapture, Shadow of the Beast and Rime are games being worked on by their respective indie devs alongside Sony's own studios. (IIRC, SSM are working on Everybodys gone to the Rapture)Zuzuvela
Their last game was with the source engine
Since this game was originally going to be for PC I assume it would help them push the graphical boundaries plus they had the intention of making this game open world which CryEngine seems to be good at.

Some of them seem to be clear as last minute grabs like Everybody's Gone to the rapture

Its the PS4 Ouya. No AAA titles to play? Here are some indies. This just confirms how f*cking pathetic the PS4 is right now. Not touching one until it gets some proper blockbustersRR360DD
 They're beyond pathetic. Afterall, those indie titles look like the typical indie.Arcade games that are littering XBLA and the "P2P nightmare" PSN's offerings.
I'm sure Sony gave Microsoft a laugh of the year moment with that "reveal".
This one will probably end up on PC later on , maybe after a year. They said NOT to rule out a PC version later but there are no plans , and by"no plans" is they are under contract to say that. Sony is publishing and assisting on development , but they don't own the IP. These games will have varying types of exclusivity , some will stay with Sony platforms , and some others could end up on PC.

I see. But how does Sony own the IP when the game was announced before they were publishing and before it was an exclusive ? Did they buy the IP ?

Sony's amazing 1st and 2nd party will carry the system, these indie titles are just a way to make up for a lack of games at launch. Better than MS who have an even worse launch and nothing to look forward to beyond that except Fable, Forza and Halo.I hope Indie developers really get a huge bump this generation. Stevo_the_gamerYeah but then they won't be indie... Think man THINK!
But in all seriousness I totally agree, I think we're all sick of the franchises getting past their sixth iteration now. If we could get reasonably cheap new titles that bring something new to the table or even just a bit different then I'll be happy. I still want big budget ones though :P

I'm saying they don't own this particular IP.[QUOTE="X_CAPCOM_X"]Risogun is just Super Stardust. Helldivers is just another clone as well, wish they didn't cancel Warriors Lair, that was one title that was going to dust off my Vita.Rime looks like a ripoff of Ico
JohnF111
Will be keeping my eye on Rime, Everyone's Gone to the Rapture, and Shadow of the Beast. So far I like what I've seen :)
Rime definitly got my attention. Helldivers and Everyody's Gone look interesting but I need to see more.
I thought Lems were into indie games? :? They kept bringing up Live Arcade games for the 360 in their arguments.
Looks Great!! A lot of free games too when ps4 launch..i dont mind waiting its not like i have the money to buy every single game..I am not worry about Sony not announcing all their exclusive games to the public yet...Sony have a history of bringing plenty of AAA title games to their system. I dont see it changing next gen..M$ is money hatting everything but that will not last long..Dead Rising will eventually come to the PS4,it will be title something else..lol..When Capcom realize their games will sell like crap on the xbone they going to beg Sony to make games for their system.
[QUOTE="jg4xchamp"]Murasaki Baby and Rime looked really nice. FoxbatAlphaConfirmed. This is how Sony is getting the 20 launch titles or however many they are claiming today, out the door. Indie City baby. You want indies? Get a Ouya.
