6 *NEW* Resistance 3 screenshots

I want this game. it looks awesome :):)

So is going by gamespot scores good or bad.

Since they're different reviewers with different tastes, you should take the scores very lightly.

For example, Far Cry 2 got a 8.5 here but mostly everyone in SW hates the game.

We DO use the scores on the Hype/Flop metagame though, but that's only for fun so the scores don't matter in the end.

Looking really good on the previews and ends up being a generic piece of crud.

Insomniac considers Resistance 2 a failure, and that is probably why they asked for the extra year in development. I bet they are trying to impress their community this time around. Hearing this, I really doubt they would consider something a failure, then make a similar game right after that. The setting already looks very different from Resistance 2. The boss looks fun and more tactical than in previous games, and the weapons now level up. Also, I guess R3 is actually finished (playable from beginning to end), but the added year is going toward polishing it. If anything I expect R3 to go far away from R2, and will probably be much closer to R1.

Yeah I'm hearing that this one will be closer to its roots, but I won't hold my breath. It's like Codemasters and their bullshots, I'll just wait for the actual game to be released. :P
