Yeah Polls are 100% right. In fact I asked 10 people on the internet if they had their PS3 fail on them, and 9 said yes. So that mean that the PS3 must have a 90% fail rate. :roll:

It is a poll on the internet, anyone can say they have a 360 fail. Even if they don't even have one.

the vast majority of people on the internet are not like the people you find here in system wars. Most would not go out of their way to participate in a survey which was not intended for them. But i am telling you right now... how well could the console have been designed if mine broke in 6 months? it was not a launch console either. There was also an article about some 1,500 - 2,500 consoles in the UK being shipped for repairs everyday. You cant ignore it. This problem is just too widespread, and i would be pretty pissed if my console came back all the way from texas nd broke in another 6 months, by which time the warranty would have expired.

Im sure every single person who doesnt like the 360 voted for the failure option. TaCoDuDe

These polls are inacurate since people who have has broken xbox 360s are more inclined to respond than xbox owners wh haven't had xbox fail. It's called a response bias.

As for the error rates, I personally believe something like 20%, which is still brutally high and should be cause for a recall and redesign.

I am not saying the 360 is prefectly made, but I think a good amount of the post about broken 360 on System wars are fake (I really love the ones by the major cows)

more than likely, some people are making up stories... but that many?? there are over 6000 surveyed, more than 3000 posting comment...

- 8678 users own a 360

- 3926 users have had one fail (45.2%)

- 4752 users have not had one fail ( 54.8%)

i own all three consoles and love them each in their own individual way, but its a little difficult dealing with this average... especially since i've had mine fail THREE times, each replaced with a different, refurbished console... i've bought 8 360 games that i would love to play, but gotta deal with this load'a... grrr

- 8678 users own a 360

- 3926 users have had one fail (45.2%)

- 4752 users have not had one fail ( 54.8%)

OMG!! Don't get me wrong, i think the 360 is a great console, but that is just TERRIBLE!!

PS: Im not saying this poll is 100% true, but i think it is way more accurate than the gamespot poll.

Is it a reliable console? No.

Is itas unreliable as the poll indicates? Nope.

Why? Because, and brace for it - fanboys don't vote honestly. A shocker, I know.
