"An eight-year-old boy shot and killed Marie Smothers, a 90-year-old grandmother, on Thursday night in Slaughter, Louisiana. On Saturday, East Feliciana Parish Sheriffs Office officials said that they now believe the child deliberately shot the woman, described as his primary caregiver."

"According to WAFB, the child told police that hed accidentally shot Smothers while playing with the gun. However, after an autopsy and a more extensive investigation on Friday, the sheriffs office now believes that the eight-year-old boy shot Marie Smothers on purpose in the back of the head while she was watching television."

If you're stupid enough to let an 8 year old play GTA IV unsupervised then leave a gun loaded where he can reach it, well honestly I'd say you probably had it coming.

But that's no the issue here. Gun safety is. Kids should not have unimpeded access to real fire arms due to carelessness.

Apperantly she didn't care about securing the gun when at home. Even if you do believe older people should have guns. It doesn't change the fact of carelessness.

This. I don't get it. We don't blame the movie industry because they release adult movies. People accept that, if it's an adult movie their kids are not allowed to aproach it. Yet they act differently with videogames. They ignore the adult label because they think all games are for kids anyway. Then they bitch at some games for not being for kids.
