9 pc games console gamers want badly

Let me clarify that.  If they could improve the visuals on something like GTA V on consoles with mods then Rockstar probably isn't maxing out the system very well.  With mods on the PC Rockstar can establish a baseline for what it needs to run the game and then any mods on top of that will of course add to that requirement.  Something that PC gamers can do (upgrade) but consoles cannot.

Love that they mentioned FTL. It's one of the greatest games of this gen and one of my favourites of all time...consoles could only wish for such greatness!

WoW, a game that is nearly 9 years old, has had four expansions, can be played on just about any PC bought within the last gen, has a huge mod list that should be utilized to enhnace the experience, and requires a mouse and keyboard setup to work is a game that they thing console gamers want badly.......

I mean the list is pretty terrible anyways. Games like Civilization just sound like a nightmare to play on consoles, and something like Dota 2 wouldn't even function with a controller, but WoW also making the list? lol...

Agreed, an astounding kickstarter success created by two visonerys without an ounce of ego or pretence like inferior console indie developers (Phil Fish). Easily one of the greatest games in the last 7 seven years. It's really no wonder console users are begging for it.

I don't think it could be done on console, just doesn't work with a pad.

I'm 3 away from beating the game on normal (even that little joke is great) with every ship.  One is the stealth cruiser though and i'm not sure i'm going to make it (even after the buff they received).

Secret of a happy life = Get a basic PC (if you dont have one already), get FTL, play, realise it's super freaking awesome, be happy.

And it works. PC factually has more games this gen.  Infact, it has 3x more exclusives than each console this gen alone. Thats high scoring ones too.

You guys beg for our games, only...it doesn't work. You barely get them. And when you do, its the worse version. 

I would only want Day Z and WoW from that list but WoW is impossible to play with controller.

I can honestly say Ive never seen a console gamer ask for any of those games. Occasionally Id see someone say like "World of warcraft could work on a console maybe" but thats about it really.

Shame PC gamers are so insecure they constantly have to make threads about how console gamers want their games when in reality they arent saying that.

Only game on that list I want is dayz, and Ill get it when the standalone comes out. Which I wish it would hurry the hell up, I want to play it. I never got around to getting arma2 and the mod for dayz.

I have to say, this is actually a fairly decent list of interesting games rather than just well known.

So unlike most of you I actually bothered to read some of what they wrote.

1. Civilization

OK, we are cheating slightly with this one, but Civilization on the PS3 wasnt the same Civilization experience that players get on the PC. Revolution was watered down for the console, and although it was great in its own right, we want a fully functional Civilization game to come to PlayStation. Not only would it look great on the PS4, but that super increase in processing power would allow for huge civilizations without a sweat. That touch screen would do great things for resource management, too.

This is hilarious.  So they acknowledge they're cheating (because it's already on console) but decide to put it on there anyway due to the console version being a fail and they'd like a better version pls.  :lol:

No, any of these games on console would likely be a watered down fail with poor interface.  Civ is an example of a game that needs to be on PC to really be appreciated - way to miss the point.  Also have to love modding at no. 2 - consoles being closed systems simply aren't going to be moddable the way PCs are.  Would it be too much to ask that consolites try to play at least some of these on PC instead of waiting for a watered down version?  Apparently so. 

There are thousands upon thousands of games on PC. Of course everyone will want some game. Listing a top ten is beyond stupid !

Just like there are thousands of exclusives on consoles, of course PC gamers will want some of those. Calling people beggers like I constantly see on SW lately is even more asinine. I'm sure those people secretly care about some exclusives at well be it on PC or on some system they don't have.

Exactly. It's just the young people, they think it scores them cool points to be anti-everything The Playstation magazine is grown up console people who are far more objective rather than a silly schoolyard mentality. It's pretty clear console gamers are desperate for these titles. Denying it wont change the reality of the situation no matter how hard you try. This is important people saying it, not some 14 year old on a forum.
