A cow's perspective on Lair

What i dont understand is...

If the game sucked, why didnt the press say so before? how can a game so beautiful be so wrong. The press should stop using PR materials and say how they feel, if Lair played like crap, then they should have told us instead of hyping it up saying its a beautiful promising game

Seriously, but GS really didn't have problem with it, they were also impressed how it did not even have a hiccup in framerate, so where did it go wrong?

Previews don't mention the negatives... and perhaps they didn't play the whole game for the preview... None of the on ground stuff or something?

Prewviews dont mention the negative because they are based on PR packets

maybe the press should step up and say

"we played Lair, it had lots of problems, hope they fix them in time for reviwe"

would that hurt

But then the arguments and stuff will start, when Too Human was shown at E3, it was not popular with a choppy framerate, and Dyack took great offense, even though he knew the game was still too early in development for a proper demo.

I've noticed a bunch of cows trying to defend the egm score for lair and build up some hype. I just wanted to throw it out there that there are probably many of cows like myself who could care less about Lair. We aren't all crazy about the game. It'll probably score AA. That's my 2 cents.whodeysay85

Are we all really ready to jump off the bandwagon so soon?

Yes, EGM gave it an average of 5.5/10 SHOCK! Someone didn't like it and couldn't handle the innovative sixaxis controls! OH NOES!

And then what happens? Threads start showing that the game also has 3 9/10's and an averaged out 7.5/10, showing some incredible AA potential to occur in teh end.

Give it a rest. Stop flip-flopping and be the cows we're all supposed to be! The game comes out in more than two weeks. GS review will be up in 2 weeks. At that time, when the game recieves AA status, it's time to MOOOOOO!

Any cow that signs this thread going "there are better games anyways" and "I was never hyped about it", I don't care if we're on the same page as Sony fans, if you start praising Lair when it gets good reviews from IGN and Gamespot, I will shut you down right then and there!
