[QUOTE="blue_hazy_basic"]

But there is the bandwidth cost to download them, sorry, steam is a lie.

even so it is still cheaper when you get newish games for under $20

[QUOTE="blue_hazy_basic"]95% of new releases are cheaper too (ie except activsion games), no XBL, free mods vs paid DLC, steam sales, etc etc PC's are a great investment if you're a serious gamer that will buy alot of games.pimpog

I have so many pc games I can't even play them all Damn you steam and you cheap prices. When I buy console games I have to be careful because the games are 60 bucks. On pc the price is right and that impulse makes me just add to cart and I have even more games. That indie game bundle was just too good to pass up.

I'm the same the deals are just to good to pass on, I now have 179 games with no time to play them all. You just can't pass on deals like fear for $2 and dirt 2 for $5.

When people look at price tags, they never think of how much it'll cost them in the long run. pc all the way.

In the long run... i can dish out $1200 for a PC that will last. Picked up Left 4 Dead 1 and 2 yesterday for 15 bucks on steam. Im loving it already :)

I'm going to try and build a pc this year.I know a guy who buys parts cheap and sells them cheap.It's all legit and my first pc was built from those parts.
Still seeing what new hardware the market brings.

[QUOTE="skrat_01"]PC gaming is radically different to what it was four years ago. Hardware is extremely cheap in regards to 'bang for your buck'. Screen resolutions are ridiculously high by default. Digital distribution is beyond impressive in regard to price point, accessibility and catalogue. Then naturally you have all the other benefits, such as the basic - it does pretty much everything - computing hooray, extensive customisation and personalisation, can connect it to your home theatre or TV, plenty of additional attachments and controllers etcetera. Then of course you have the independent development boom sprouting alongside digital distribution to compliment it all. It's a good time to PC game.psn8214

... and it's only getting better. But PC gaming is dying, amirite? :roll: :P

Noway man it's dead :P
