The only games that should be considered the worst are the ones that are technically unplayable... Everything else is preference. Even a game like shadowrun the multiplayer shooter that's hated by many... Is loved by some, me being one. Grey_Eyed_Elf

I still enjoy that MP to this day.  There's no game like it, and the learning curve is so sharp that I feel I can't let my skills go to waste :D

Aliens Colonial Marines and Splinter Cell: Double Agent were complete crap. Double Agent has so many game breaking glitch. I was suprised I was experiencing so many in one single playthrough.

the worst game to me has to go to Aliens: Colonial Marines, at least as far as my hopes in comparision to the finished product, I mean I went to PAX I saw Randy Pitchford's team play a live demo and I was so super psyched, and I waited, and waited, and had high hopes, and the finished product was soooo not what I saw being played, and to learn the truth, about how he used Sega's money to make other games Gearbox profited from, while they punted the product off to some no names that make shit games, it broke my heart fvck him, fvck Gearbox for that matter I'm not going to play another game of theirs out of principle sure, there was worse games, but they looked like shit games pre-release and I had no interested in them after they were released, there was no disappointment caused by many of themlamprey263

Yeah, their shady marketing has really hurt their reputation. You can't really trust anything spewing out of Randy's mouth anymore.

This thread is missing some of the absolute worst games. The kind you'll play for 5 minutes-1 hour and beg for that time of your life back. Here's my list.

MindJack

This has to be the worst game I've played since Hidden and Dangerous for the Sega Dreamcast. It had such a good look about it for the first 5 minutes and now it's not good enough to be a coaster let alone would I use the disc as a frisbee for the most terminal canine.

Vampire Rain.  

Broken, unplayable, with early 6th gen graphics. 

Soldier of Fortune- Payback  

A lone wolf FPS that is dreadful. This game had all multiplayer achievements/trophies but the online was and is dead. Vaporware.

LAIR.  

 This could've been a great game, but ended up being a bonified flop. 

The Club  

Worst purchase ever. 

Two Worlds.  

 I just vomit in my mouth. 

R.U.S.E

Maybe not the worst game of the gen, but one of the most disappointing sequels for sure.

Any console game can consider worst game of the generation including uncharted and gears which ruined gaming industrySNIPER4321

Bioshock. Or, at least, that and RDR are the ones I was most disappointed in.
