If the PSP still has life in 2013 and XSEED (sorry to say) isnt out of business then I can see atleast the 1st Zero no Kiseki game making it.

Other that that, yeah, no chance.

Luxen90

Unless Xseed can get Falcom to port those games over to NGP(They are supporting the NGP iirc), I really doubt we will see Zero no Kiseki in the US, which makes me sad, because it looks sooo good. Right now they are having problems on how they will put the sequel to trails in the sky on PSN, since it's two umds. I'm kind of hoping Sony helps them out.

Wow two umds? Man must be a huge game.

Again, falcom ports and rereleases games all the time. This game alone has seen 6 different releases. It's been on CD, DVD, UMD, and DD. There are different versions for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, and PSP. It's very likely that falcom will port this series and the zero series to NGP themselves (without needing encouragement from XSEED), with various tweaks and added features to go with it.

It would be the same as PS1 games with mulitple discs right?

Ragnarok1051
Apparently it's not as easy as that.

Final Fantasy Zero will be 2 UMDs.

But the graphical difference between the two games is huge. The Trails is probably the larger of the two games (content wise).

This. If S-Es previous releases and supposed data sizes are accurate, FF T-0 will be a relatively short game with amazing graphics despite the 2 discs.

Really, I think XSEED should probably forego the 3rd game. From what I understand, 2 effectively concludes the series and the 3rd game is fairly separate from the main storyline.

True.... but c'mon, you have to admit the game looks damn impressive.

S-E and XSeed are seeing the PSP off with a party.

Yeah, the 3rd game supposedly is still great, but it really is just about the characters lives after the first two games. I really don't care much about the 3rd game, I just want the 2nd and would love for Zero no Kiseki to come here.

I feel the same way. While this is a great game, I don't get the impression that a supernatural journey that explores the minds of the characters would really be something this series would excel at.

While never really bothering with the thrid game or even doing alot of research on it I hear its actually as solid as the former 2 and is actually treated much like an epilogue. A good amount of info to be learned about the post quest.

Personally, I enjoy the gameplay in Square-Enix games. But all those pretty graphics feel like a waste when they can't hire decent writers.

I feel the same way. I enjoyed the combat in XIII. Wish the story could have made better sense though. Here's hoping the sequel improves upon that area.

The fact that they're already retconning it makes me wonder who is writing it this time. I have no hope though. Not after 3rd birthday.

It's hard to explain. It just feels very similar to the original Grandia. I'm sorry if that's not very helpful. I'll try to think of how to put it into words ...

Id agree if the PSPs imminent death wouldnt get in the way of XSeed actually getting BOTH Zero no Kiseki games out, which ofcourse would happen.

Bah, Falcom doesnt treat LoH like they do Ys. They may update the LoH games when necessary but theyre still whoring off the Ys games.

Ys I and II have been ported and rereleased an unholy amount of times. More than any other game I can think of actually.

Sequel saga is Zero no Kiseki. It's a new saga made recently in the future, but same universe as the Trails in the sky trilogy and in case you didn't know the trilogy isn't all that VA heavy, but Xseed has said themselves there's no chance that the trails in the sky sequel will come out this year, so I expect one LoH game a year, so we might not get Zero no Kiseki until 2014 and even then what are the chances of PSP being alive in 2014?

Shirokishi_

Maybe the sequel will be ported as a NGP title?

XSeed is a VERY huge Falcom fan so while Im sure theyd try if they had to Im confident theyd fail to get them ported as NGP titles.

If we're lucky the NGP will have a dedicated PSP game download service and XSeed chooses to take that route.

NGP will play all psp downloadables anyway...as its backward compatible. Which is why I bought this game on PSN (well and the fact that when I picked up 3rd birthday the game didn't come out till the following day and I couldn't wait!!!) Also ...

its already been confirmed that Falcom is releasing the sequal for NGP:
