A person wrote in my paper that the Wii Trumps the PS3

Now I dont know the guy and nor do I like any of the two consoles but I know stupid when I read, smell, hear, or see it. First he said this '' The price is such a better deal $250>$600. Well believe it or not the Wii is overpriced amd the PS3 is not actually. The PS3 you get a awesome processor 60gig harddrive and Bluray. The Wii doesnt even play dvds has last gen graphics(not even 1Ghz of processing power WTF!!!)and not even a harddrive. The PS3 is expensive but not overpriced. Then he said the Wii gave his children the fun and laughter that a PS product or a x box never gave. The Nintendo has always been kind of kiddy and the guy only talked about Wii sports. The PS3 I believe to be for more experienced gamers and actually has some GAMES.It just makes me mad when people talk about stuff when they have no idea what they are talking about. And again a console is for diffrent people so a console cant just suck.

why do people blame nintendo for making good hardware cheaply and then selling it for a profit. example. N64 more powerful than the PS1 but started off a $100 cheaper and they still made a profit. GC more powerful than the PS2 also $100 cheaper and they still made a profit. no one was complaining about them making a profit back then were they? Is it theyre fault they want to make money. not only that value is a relative concept. The PS3 may ave more stuff but what if you dont want all of that stuff? then its just wasted money.laughingman42

Hmph...you make a good point, but the wii really does not have such a massive advantage that I see but people do what other people do...to me, Smash Bros Melee is better then any wii game out, WHERE IS MY BRAWLLLLLLLLLLL :cry:.

It may not be overpriced in Overall Value it is however overpriced when it comes to the Market. $600- is way too much for a console no matter whats inside. $400-$450 should be the max any console costs.

The Wii is $250 because of a) double processing power of the GC at 1/3 the size = SIX times more efficient than the GC b) FREE Online c) Motion Sensing Technology d) free game worth around $24.99 and e) backward compatability for over 6 systems not found on GC Hardware. You're getting alot of extra stuff with the Wii that you wont get with a GC. PS3 has no more good games than the Wii has, so don't pull that bs, and the PS3 is priced right where it should be. Also, quit using the "kiddy image" argument because it's simply not valid. The Wii is a well rounded system that sells kid oriented games but is not limited to those games. Besides, Wii outsells PS3 3:1. Need anymore proof Wii trumps the PS3? I hate it when people don't research things and act like they know what they're talking about.

wait the Wii's motion sencing technology sucks. I can swing the controller a inch on wii baseball and he will throw 95. I can easily just play it from a couch. They cant even get that right.

Gran Turismo 5 not every1 has the attention span to play this slow and boring racing sim

Lair this isnt proved to be a good game

Resident Evil 5 no one knows if this will be on rails, re4 style or original re style so i cant judge this

Army of Two im not sure what this is

Final Fantisy this is ok i guess

Unreal Tournament 3 better on pc
