Sony is in touble i don't care what cows say anymore there are no great games to be released on ps3 in a long time that aren't ports and with sony's first "killer app" getting a 7.9 they really need to pull there act together or else there is no way they will even have a dent on 360 and wii sales this gen. So what do you think now that the first third of year one is over and all the "just wait a year" posts are disapearing do you think ps3 will see holiday season 08.
Wow, someone needs to understand how the scoring standards work. And you're comparing two totally different genres. It's safe to say that Dead or Alive 4 is better than Virtua Fighter 5 based on the standards, even if they're on different platforms, they're both fighting games.

1st gen Playstation 3 titles aren't going to be "killer apps" and system sellers. Developers are going into these games knowing very little about Cell and PS3's complex architecture. It's sad but people are going to have to "wait" for the good games to come out. My eye is on Heavenly Sword, if that game scores "bad" than I don't know what else to think.
I dont think it is so much that people care what it is that a game scores here on GS, its just that they want to say someone has been owned, or there game didn't flop. I don't think what GS says affects whether or not someone buys a game, at least I hope not.
Plus, based on GS, Oot >>> MANY games. m_machine024
I've gotta say that I came late to the party on OOT and only first played it a year ago. Despite missing it's prime and playing it after it had aged considerably, it still became my second favorite game of all time (It surpassed the original Half-Life)
Usually I find sheep cute, and a non-factor to system wars, but now when you say stuff like this I notice it. You are glotting over a game that was release in 1998. Think about that for a minute... Second, the score of OOT is not base on the score of Motorstorm. Thirdly, your system is the Wii. It lacks third party support to win this gen, and gives me tennis elbow when I play Wii sports now. Please sheep do yourself a favor and stay a cute loving "kiddy game" person. You expect to stomp with the big boys I suggest you have an ID to get in because this is rated M not E.

Dude...Halo CE and Xbox? That was a first gen game and it has utterly destroyed any PS2 game that came out after that. It was THE killer ap and it most certanly was a system seller. GRAW? It came around the same time MotorStorm came out. That was a first gen game. That agruably was one of the killer aps, if not the only one. How does sony explain their "superior console" getting a "superior game" getting a low score. A review it may be, if they say the game has crap single player you lose half your audience right there. Some people like single player over multiplayer and if the game can't deliever on that, then they are screwed. Honestly the only thing PS3 is riding on is a Outdated Final Fantasy series which is older then me for crying out loud, a GTA IV which is not a exclusive, and MGS which is rumoured to be going to the 360. Not to poke fun or anything, but Sony has screwed up real bad. The only thing that can save them is if the 360 and Wii all get bad games for the rest of 2007...which is about as likely as the chance that I have cancer. I loved the PSone but somewhere PS2 lost me to the Xbox and I have been hammering away at that since.
