A thought on the ps3 price

You know 600 bucks really isn't that bad when you think about it. It's a blu ray player, and you get your wifi adapter included and such. But it really hit me earlier how much 600 dollars really is.

You see my GF is graduating from our college this semester and her parents are going to buy her a trip after graduation. I'm invited but of course I'm paying my way for most of it. So we settled o n a cruise. We looked at prices for a 6-7 night western carribean cruise, and guess what 600 bucks.

So for the price of just the PS3 hardware, is as much as a 7 night cruise to the western carribean, and thats the interior room.

Then it hit me, who would pay 600 dollars just for the system to play games when they could go on a cruise for the same price! Comon guys SW cruise!

well going on a cruise would require actually going outside into the "outside world." or as they call it, RL. and I fear some people never leave system wars.

 Then add in the price of games at $60.00 a pop. 

Anyways it is expensive and thats why its in last place. I have plenty of friends like me who owns  a PS2 and didnt buy the PS3 because it was $600.00.

a once in a lifetime oppurtunity, vs. system that will drop in price, take time to get games and eventually die and be forgotten..... 

That cruise lasts 7 days, a PS3 lasts years.

Hehehe that's mean dude... let's not belittle the guys with no gfs.
I don't have one myself but I just choose not to, I dont have the with the amount work hours...no girl would tolerate the weird work hours I have...Hell it's 11:32pm on a saturday night and I just got off a work call

But I wouldn't pay that much for a PS3 either or rather $699.99 plus 14% tax for one. But if I strike it rich, ya know what, I might do so but I would only buy a PS3 if I had the money to not care if and only if they three in R:FOM for free. I just by principal refuse to pay that much for a console and not only not get a free game but get a free Taledega nights movie lol

And why is Click a movie sent out to europe? For the free BR? Did Click do really well in Europe or something? They should only put Casion Royale on BR if anything

It's a five year investment, that's beyond 6-7 days.

But nothing beats beautiful memories.
