A viewpoint on lemmings (from a lemming)

As a hater of the Xbox but a fan of the 360, I will agree with you here. Particularly your theory on the 360 being nothing without Halo. Im not a fan of it, and I know a few hardcore who arent either (one of whom is a Lemming), but casuals lapped up Halo, which established it as a big name franchise for Microsoft.

I was never a fan of the Xbox, I really truly believed that there were too many shooters. Although a bit of a stereotype, there is some truth to it. However, the new-found popularity of the 360 has brought it some great games, and luckily are a number of new RPG's on the horizon, establishing it as a more diverse console, unlike its predecessor.

However, I do believe this may actually be more of a result of Sony's mistakes and developer's recognition of these mistake's combined with lack of support outside America. Thankfully, the 360 has many more games than shooters. Saying that, there could still be yet MORE diversity, as shooters continue to crop up in lists of the 360's best games.

Now I've been a lemming for quite some time now (I guess I'm breaking the mould with the new generation), and to think, it has come to this...

Lemmings have become arrogant, snobbish, and think they own the place. BlahIf you're a cow or sheep that really does get sick of lemmings being stuck up and stuff, feel free to agree here. I'm coming from behind the lemming frontline today just because I'm getting sick of it. I'll probably go back after this, but I need to know if other people are getting annoyed.

Oh do you see more "360 sucks in Japan?" Well buddy, welcome to 2007. You're living in 2006. 360 will run stuff as good as the PC? You honestly gotta be kidding me. One assumes that you have the best PC out to handle a PC/360 title, and you just gotta be one helluva blind fanboy to not realize that. Well tell me fellow lemming: It's the year 2007 and Halo doesn't exist for the 360. What the hell do we do?

This thread seems like it's trying to suck up to the people that are guilty same negative behavior the TC decries.  Every console has obnoxious fans... it's just that the 360 has more of them at the moment because the 360's install base is the largest.  When the sales of the PS3 catch up, which I'm sure they will, there will be just as many PS3 owners on here saying stupid crap.  In my opinion, the Nintendo kids generally seem less prone to this kind of obnoxious behavior, but it does happen.

All fanboys are arrogant, snobbish and will defend their console to death without any evidence and showing clear bias. You just happen to be posting at a time when the 360 is riding high and bashing the PS3 is very easy. If that ever changes, so will the posters of this forum.
