The reason why I have made this topic is that I fail to understand why wii is still selling and beating the 360.I mean the arcade is 50 dollars less than the wii.And Whatever you might wanna say I can play all those games on an arcade even on xbox live.And even the wii doesnt have a hard drive.A 200 dollar system has as more AA+ games in 2008 than the whole wii lineup which is a 250$ dollar system.Can someone please explain why wii is still beating the 360

It has the word Nintendo on it. The Wii is targeted at kids, adults, and old folks. Tell me which will do better. Cheap console+motion controls+games that all age groups play or Cheap console+Stereotype to only have core game+games not targeted at every age group. I doubt we'll see grandparents and disable kids on the news playing Lips, or Gears 2. The Wii is popular and thats a key factor and it gets mainstream coverage almost everyday.DeadSpaceXIII

That is because Wiisports and Wiifit are system sellers. There is no system selling game of that level on the 360.

Really the idea of Wiifit has been around for some time. Wiisports is a fun game that any one of any age can enjoy.

there is nothing wrong with that people have to start some way. None of us started has a so called "Hard core gamer" look at the PS2 most of the shovelware you see on the Wii was ported from the PS2. Even companies like Epic and Apogee started with making casuals style games. What the Wii is doing by bringing in more gamers is good because these people and stay with gaming and buy games you like. Plus there is a number of so called casual games like Mario Party which can be a lot of fun. You don't have to play only mature titles when there is so much out there.

I feel you. I will buy TofV after it has dropped in price. I rented Burnout paradise but did not like it very much.

DMC4 was a good game but I got that on the PS3 and not the 360. Funny thing is I have barely played it.

Not a big fan of FPS, Sports or sim racers so there is very little on that list that appeals to me. Expect I think the TC is missing Lost Odyssey which I did buy, but will not be able to play until Christmas. A gift from the wife.

Yes, that is right, people can have differing opinions on things, and sometimes, the critical and commercial opinions are miles different on certain things.

last year i bought more wii than 360 games too

so i could care less about this list

Sony had the EyeToy as well - with Kinetic (a fitness game), but failed to take advantage of it (it was a small success in Europe though).

I do...I did not buy them because they were Exclusives but it just seems I like them more

Out of the 16 Wii games I own only Baroque and LOZ:TP are Multiplats

on my 360 out of 9 360 games only Orange Box and Marvel Alliance are Multiplats

On the PS3 out of 9 games only DMC4, Call of Duty 3 and GH3 are Multiplats

I can't speak for him but I do. There is also more exclusives I looking forward to than Multiplats.
