the 360s 1 year brought more quality games than the Wiis entire existance so far.

exclusives haven't been comint out in a consistant manor on any system(even the PC)

i would much rather have a bunch of great games than just some great games.

Most of my library of games this gen is multiplats

GTA 4-pc
The Orange Box -pc
Gears of War-pc
Mass Effect-pc
Bioshock-pc
Eternal Sonota
Rock Band 2-wii
Call of Duty 4-pc

and the list could go on.

A Great game is a great game.....and the fact is that in 2008 the 360 had more great games than the Wii has had in its entire 2 years of being on the shelves.

And you want to defend that with what is or isn't exclusive?

this is why multy plats are crap most of them you dont need a console to play so whats the point of brining them up when compairing consoles

quality over quantity !!!!!!!! :P

ok seriously now, a lot.. and i mean A LOT of the 360 games wouldn't score AA in my book. so i guess it's personal refrerence.

keep in mind that Wi's library is much more diverse and unique. The standards are also much higher on the Wii than the 360 or PS3 (as in taking much more content to impress reviewers).

he's asking about Wii's success. So yes exclusives do matter and should be taken into account.

As i've said 360's list is not bad but doesn't appeal to many people. I honestly feel as though some (if not most) of the games on the 360 just got a free pass (as in did everything correctly but not worth the score).

SO what? there still great games

The whole thing brought up is that in 1 year(which still isn't finished yet) the 360 is capable of gettng more quality games(Exclusives and non exclusives) than the Wii can in 2 years

You could probably do the same thing with the PS3 or PC.....Multiplats have been the bulk of this gen(like they always are) they don't suddenly suck.

in fact most of the exclusives have been usually AA games at best, while the multiplats have had more AAA performances.

that's basically because of the INSANE similarity between consoles nowdays ... wait it has always been this way :| But it seems MS's strategy is to take Sony's exclusives thus making the whole multiplat shebang all the more obvious now. Multiplats usually lack charm IMO just look at 360's list.. most of them are good, just not great IMO.
