Until the 3 systems (360,wii,pc) can get an AAAAE, they cant claim to compete with the ps3, simple. 360,wii,pc are all fighting for 2nd place (or first loser) in terms of their games library.

Thats just simple facts. you cant change it no matter what excuse you pull up. you cant expect to argue which system has better games when the ps3 clearly has the ONLY AAAAE. so stop making siilly comments about how the ps3 library isnt the best, because it is. the number "10" on the MGS4 page doesnt lie.

With trophies being able to be used as currency in Home there is now added incentive to replay your games to get trophies and use it to buy stuff in home. Third party developer support is shifting to the PS3. Rockstar can't see making GTA5 for 360. The 360 is actually holding multiplats back.

Now this would be a different story if both consoles are equal in terms of power but they're not. The PS3 is clearly superior with the cell and it's 7 SPEs. That's ALOT of processing power. When FFXIII comes out and people are going to decide whether to get a 360 or PS3 for it, they might as well get a PS3 and get both versions of FFXIII. Not to mention The next metal gear which will again also be exclusive to PS3.

You're generalising too much there. I genuinely found MGS4 to be deserving of its 10, and I'm sure plenty of others did too. And I play far more games on my 360 than my PS3. I don't always agree with GS scores though. Mirror's Edge for example, horribly underrated.

PS3 has the lowest scoring RPG's this generation, zero exclusive WRPG's and 360 has an avalance of both JRPGs and WRPG's, most exclusive and all looking stunning, AAA-AAAA for me

In short, i do not know what games you like and base this thread on, but for me as a RPG gamer, PS3 is the worst system ever created probably, well maybe Wii rivals it in that regard, but both are millions of miles behind 360 in that genre, like in strategy and adventure genres also

PS3 may have the only AAAAE, but what good is it to me, when the games i like, that is RPG's mainly, are some of the worst this generation on PS3 and just two in number, with only one to wait for (FF13vs)

This is why 360 is the best for me, and it is PS3 that fail, in a huge way

i've never played it but i highly doubt it deserved a 10. No game is perfect and a 10/10 = perfect.

MGS4 wasn't "perfect". Every game has something that someone may not like, but that doesn't mean a game doesn't deserve a 10 either. MGS4 was and is an outstanding technical achievment in gaming, and many felt that there was nothing significant at the time of their reviews that could've made the game any better. That's why Gamespot, and many other reviews gave the game a 10.

MGS4 = 10 doesnt mean that PS3 is ultimate, but it means that "the game MGS4" is ultimate according to GS.

For a system to be ultimate it should have many good games, good price, good online ...etc. So talk abouit those and not just one game.
