@Shewgenja: It does count for something but really the only knock is the story telling ( which is too bad ), gameplay and MP are all top notch....8.6/10 is still a great game by anybodys standards but yet its treated like 5/10 which would be an average game. But AC scoring a 9 here is silly.

And in terms of quantity, sure. Bloodborne is great, I really liked The Order, Tearaway was a masterpiece on Vita, but I'm not sure on PS4. The rest I haven't played or I'm not counting (MLB? Uncharted? God of War 3? Really?)

But I think in quality I'm really enjoying Halo 5 more than any of them. And that's single player only, my multiplayer experience has been relatively brief.

I think it's a matter of the MP bringing the score up rather than the campaign bringing the score down. It's all in perspective. Actual IRL friends who have beaten the game have said that not only was the story telling bad, but it leaves you on the kind of cliffhanger that gives you no resolution whatsoever. So, you have to decide whether you even care about the story at all or if you're just being dangled from a hook for more bullshit. All-in-all, a very dissatisfying experience. Especially since the few Chief missions there are happen to be the ones that are truly meaningful in the grand scheme of things.

That's a whole lot of weak story-telling, that actually detracts from the core mechanics which are more hit than miss. Without the MP, the game could very well be a 5/10. That means, for those people out there who aren't maniacal about MP, this was a very bad Halo. Need I remind you that Halo 1 on the old XBox didn't even have MP? The expectation of a Halo game is higher than most in that regard, due to what Halo 2 did. You may think that's a bad thing now, because you're getting rekt on System Wars, but that really just means there's a lot more work to do but at least 343i got one half of the game really right and dialed in.

It's not fun having your nose rubbed in shit. However, it has to be said, ya'll were all about it just three days ago. The Uncharted flop doesn't really seem all that funny any more, does it? Not when you're the receiving team for once. 343i has to get things right. All of it. That's what happens when you're the one god-tier franchise on a console that revolves their entire year around holiday release hype. Everyone expects Drew Bledsoe or Peyton Manning to step on the field.

It's not pretty, but I think it shows how bad the Xbone lineup is if even the PS4 beat it this year. PS4 looks to have 2016, and probably 2017 on lock as well.

Didnt realise screamride was on 360, its a kinect game so dont pay any interest. There plenty more for both but as TC is for some reason excluding console/pc games, but including 360/ps3 we wont have a proper line up for both

People still misunderstand the word 'exclusive'. HD "remasters" don't count.

Out of that list I'd take: Everybody's gone to the rapture, Uncharted Collection, Final Fantasy X, and Bloodborne. Rare Replay, Gears Remaster, Halo 5, and Forza 6.

Also you really should add Tomb Raider, but it'll come off the list in a few months.

Well, first off, it's being advertised as the "best holiday line-up in xbox history", not the "best 2015".. In that context, how's that PS4 exclusive holiday lineup looking? Oh, no flagship PS4 exclusive titles releasing this holiday?.. Oh ok.. I see how the goal posts were set for this thread then..

Secondly, Forza 6 is the best exclusive racing game released so far this generation and has tons of gameplay content that will potentially last for years.. Halo 5 is the best exclusive first-person shooter released so far this generation and also has online multiplayer content that will potentially last for years.. Outside of BloodBorne (I LOVE the Souls games), all that list consists of are remasters, indies, and niche JRPGs.. If that's what you prefer, then more power to ya but there has to be something said for "quality over quantity" as well (and no, a AAE Indie =/= a AAE flagship exclusive imo).. And considering that Bloodborne wasn't released remotely close to "Holiday 2015", I think the Xbox One's "greatest holiday line up" is doing quite well with two feature rich, genre topping exclusives compared to the PS4's .. . the PS4's.. what big exclusives does the PS4 have this holiday again?..

Very well could be....I haven't finished the story yet but I don't mind a cliffhanger when we know Halo 6 is already in the works, usually it makes you want to play the next even more ( unless it's really shit, I will have to see for myself ). Halo 1 was so so long ago, it is hard to keep a franchise going for this long. There might be some franchise fatigue setting in but even with all that, it still feels fresh to me with the slight changes 343i has made.

All I can say for now is I am really enjoying it...the graphics are really cool....there are some flat textures sure but there is so much color and so much going on, it''s pretty intense and exciting. And I can't wait to dive in the MP.

It bugs me for some reason when people say 343i are not talented....they obviously are, this game is an achievement on many fronts for the bone....they just need some storytelling work it seems Halo 6 will be amazing lol What they tried do with MCC was really ambitious and never done before and didn't quite work out but damn what an effort.

Both consoles will be getting some great exclusives in the coming months / 2016...

I haven't had a problem with it so far....seems about on par with most video game stories lol...but I have yet to complete it and I guess the ending pissed off some people.

But tearaway if still the same game as the other version but includes some extras. If you had noticed i put gear down as a multi plat even tho the whole game as been built up from the start for xbo, rare replay has games on it that are now pretty fucking difficult to get yet i still called it a multiplat. So i aint moving the goal posts to make it look better in favour of anyone unlike yourself who is trying to include tearaway because of extras and dragon because it wasnt released outside of japan

Hey. There's something we can agree on. They have the talent. The MP shows that they have that. If anything, take a look at Guerrilla for inspiration. There was another talented developer that took a good while to really shine. Now, they're shining, though. In 343i's case, it took them two games to get the MP right. Now that they are facing the blowback from the campaign story, they'll dial that in next time I'm sure.

Ah.... one of those deals maybe. Alright, I'll keep an eye for the general consensus on the game's story when all the release hype dies down.

Tearaway features entirely new content to the point where it's more a sequel than the same game and you can't buy DQ Heroes on any other system bar PS4 in the west.

DH is a PS3 game end of. if people wanted to play it that desperately they could import it as the PS3 was region free. Tearaway is a multiplat no matter how you spin it, if thats the case the foriza horizon 2 is an exclusive due to it having different things then the 360 version gears is exclusive due to it being built for the xbo and having a new mutliplayer compared to the original.

Tearaway is more new content than old, it's exclusive and so is DQ in the west.

"Feels" doesn't make it a new game. If the game is the exact same with the addition of content, then it's still the same game. It's not including DLC on some of these remasters. It's still the same game but with extra content. It doesn't make them new games.

So wait...Gamespot rates Playstation exclusives higher than Xbox exclusives? No way.

Also love the list. It's full of ports and remasters, yet somehow exclusive. Let's be honest, both consoles suck as far as real actual exclusives go.
