I think the fact that its that small of a difference tells me that you're experiencing buyers remorse and have to defend it...
It's not just the .1 difference. It's also graphics, sounds, tougher standards, variety. They all make a very convincing case that PS3's exclusives are much better than 360's. Just sayin'.KabennLee
Better sounds + better graphics + tougher standards + variety = .1 difference? Wow, thats extra bad.

Tougher standards? All those Playstation exclusive reviewers are reviewing PS3 games at a higher standard than 360 games?

Slightly better graphics will only make a case for some, and slightly better sounds ill only make a case for those the the ability to take advantage of that (i.e. a higher end surround sound et).
I won't touch on higher standard, nor variety, as it's been debated hundreds of times before.

Yes, definitely. As each year passes, reviewers use tougher and tougher standards to grade a game. Therefore, newer releases are judged tougher than earlier releases.[QUOTE="Raymundo_Manuel"][QUOTE="KabennLee"]It's not just the .1 difference. It's also graphics, sounds, tougher standards, variety. Playstation exclusive reviewers don't review 360 games whatsoever, and exclusive reviewers often times make up a huge percentage of reviews for each game that comes out.
You're essentially comparing a review from OXM with one from Playstation Magazine, and so on and so forth. The standards Playstation Magazine has in place for reviewing games will never EVER have an impact on the scores of 360 games.
Just stick to comparing Gamespot scores. One site, one set of standards across the board.
I was curious. I wanted to see which console has a higher average exclusive score. The list are short because those are all the retail (not downloadable games) that score AAA on Metacritic.why would you take an average and why are both lists so short? :?

[QUOTE="Fightingfan"]Gears of war isn't exclusive.BPoole96
This. And I'm think one of the MLB The Show games is averaged above 90% as well, adding to the variety
MLB: The Show isn't exclusive either :PYeah, go figure. It can be the difference between an AAA and an AA. My point is, no matter how you measure it, if you are a gamer, the PS3 exclusives are better than 360 exclusives in just about every way, not just that 1% difference.1% is such a HUUUUUUUUGE difference!

oh dear. why on earth would you only look at AAA scores? is that all we should play? we traditionally look at at least AA and up.

If that's the case, let's not talk about graphics alone. Or exclusives alone. Multiplats alone. Or sales alone. Or anything alone. We should talk about everything at once. Then every topic should be exactly the same because we should bring up every thing that matters in one topic. I was just curious about AAA titles and decided to do a little research on my own, and it so happens that PS3 AAA exclusives are clearly better than the 360's. Some people might not like it, but it's the truth.Yeah, go figure. It can be the difference between an AAA and an AA. AAA exclusives are not small samples. They are responsible for a large percentage of sales. They also pushes the most boundaries in terms of graphics and gameplay. The they act as great differentiators among consoles.[QUOTE="CaseyWegner"][QUOTE="KabennLee"] Yeah, go figure. It can be the difference between an AAA and an AA. The they act as great differentiators among consoles. Buddy there's only five/six games! Are you honestly telling me that people ONLY buy AAA exclusives over the life of a console? And they are not responsible for a large percentage of sales except for Halo and Gears (not sure about PS3), most console sales are due to multiplats. Which, btw, are the only FAIR and somewhat REASONABLE way to compare consoles. Since *exclusive on 360* is always going to play towards that crowd and the consoles strenght while *exclusive on PS3* will also do the same thing[QUOTE="tonitorsi"]It's not just a win. It's a HUGE win. Just about every single category important to a gamer, the PS3 AAA exclusives stand head and shoulders above 360 exclusives.A win is a win :P
KabennLee
1% is not a huge win :|
I agree over all the ps3 has a more diverse exclusive line up than 360. Halo and gears are the only 360 exclusives I really really liked. The rest of my 360 games are multiplats. But the 1 percent difference isn't that much. But if the 360 had the higher percentage 1 percent would be a huge difference and 360 fanboys would have a field day. However, I think fanboyism in general is stupid as hell.ShadowNinja87
if you look at AA and up games, there's just as much variety on the 360 as there is on the ps3.
[QUOTE="UnrealLegend"]What do you mean it's not a huge difference? Higher Average score + more quantity+ better graphics, + tougher standards + More variety + better sounds quality.= HUGE win. The 360 just got owned. Real bad. That's not a huge difference at all :?
KabennLee
The difference is like 1%. And since when did the PS3 have tougher standards? You sound like you're making stuff up.

I agree that there are more AAs than AAA tittles. I disagree that they are very small samples. But AAAs have a much bigger impact when it comes to gaming choices. One Bill Gates has more financial impact than a thousand you's and me's.Please Log In to post.
