That looks really good.
But it looks like it'll be a detailed Helicopter sim, I don't think you can really compare it to an arcade game like AC6
A Chopper sim...
What the hell does that have to do with comparisons to AC6?
AC6 is a Aircraft Arcade game...
Apples and Oranges...
Ace Combat 6 doesn't have anything on this*. - Sorry for be a "Grammar whore" But the least people could do is at least make their topics semi-decent.
It's hard to compare the two, at all.
Edit: Forgot to mention the game does look kick-ass though. Might have to get my grubby hands on it.
most people may think this looks cool....but the truth is that most people here will hate a game like this if they ever play it...this is a very realistic game...its not like Forza 2 or GTA...which may claim to be Sims...but really dont even come close....real sims are very complex with many many many keys to learn properly....the learning curve is so massive that most people dont even try.
according to GS: the learning curve for Forza 2 is about an hour...while the learning curve for flight sim, is 3 hours...most people just dont have that kind patience....
I however...love sims....though I prefer infantry combat and games like OPF.
Ace Combat 6 is a mere arcade game compared to the likes of titles like Falcon 4.0 and Lock-On. VERY different playstyles. Some people would rather just turn, burn, and unload unusually large amounts of missiles at WWII-size waves of foes, while others would prefer to take on the challenge of mastering complex flight models and avionics systems. To make the comparison even more complex, you focused mostly on Black Shark's helicopter portion, whereas I've never heard of an Ace Combat game featuring anything but jets. Still, that's a very nice video, and I'd have to admit that I was questioning for a moment whether or not I was looking at real footage. (Oh, and is it true that Black Shark is now a standalone extension to the Lock-On series, sort of like how IL-2: Forgotten Battles was to the original IL-2 Sturmovik?)NamelessPlayerHey, Back in the f22 Lighting 3 days we would turn and burn but it was mostly using guns and not missles though the missles were easy to dodge when vulcher's would shoot at you.IL2 fb was on of many expansions for IL2 series includinc Pacific fighters it was fun for farly long time but i lost intrest in it.Lock on all though it was good to some people it just didn't appeal to me as i thought it would have.
Vulching ='s killing someone before they have a chance to take off.

Well then trust me that 3 hours will only teach how to possibly take off under comfortable conditions. People play flight sims for years and still don't master them.

If your talking about first time flight sim playes then yea it takes them a while espically under combat conditions. As for an old flight sim vet like me it takes no time at all haha.[QUOTE="ArcticSnake"][QUOTE="cobrax25"][QUOTE="NuclearDruid"][QUOTE="cobrax25"]most people may think this looks cool....but the truth is that most people here will hate a game like this if they ever play it...this is a very realistic game...its not like Forza 2 or GTA...which may claim to be Sims...but really dont even come close....real sims are very complex with many many many keys to learn properly....the learning curve is so massive that most people dont even try.

How about me and you take to the skies and settle this like real men! Oh we will see who will be laughing as I constantly turn in circles because I have no freaking idea how to perform any other manuveurs, ultimately somehow blowing out my engine and spiral down into the ground.
Yeah, I can smell your fear now.
What's that music piece called? I hear it in so many videosblitzinger123
It's from the movie Requiem for a Dream (a very good movie). Composed by Clint Mansell.

I gave up on flight sims when I spend 1 hour trying to take off into the air with no success..............
That is gonna need a high spec PC to run, these types of sims are very demanding. Shouldn't really compare console air combat games to PC ones.
