Achievements are smarter, more original, etc than Trophies. Xbox Wins generationally!

Achievements are numbers fractions which show completion and an excellent learning tool.

Achievements were the Original before trophies.

Trophies provide a false sense of entitlement and accomplishment where one trophy pops and you are ecstatic doesn’t matter if it is bronze.

When an achievement pops it is just a number so after beating the game you check to find it is a fraction of what is attainable and work to get the rest.

I could go on and on.

PC and switch games like Mario Odyssey , world of Warcraft,and Xenoblade also copied achievements

Steam, psn, epic games iPhone games, google games all copied Xbox

Who the hell cares? The industry is where its at because companies copy/learn from each other. This nonsense of company X didn't first is nothing but fanboy stupidity because we all gain from shared implementations.

No fucks given about achievements. I usually disable them so the annoying popups don't break my immersion. I play games because I enjoy them and I do not need some bullshit pat on the back all the time for things I have accomplished or additional goals to chase after.

The media is anti Xbox and refuse to give credit where credit is do. Xbox built all the pillars of success current platforms follow from reliable servers, ergonomic controls, achievements, etc

I prefer Trophies, you can go for a platinum for getting them all is so rewarding seeing that platinum.

XBox doesn't give you a platinum if you get all your trophies its just a bunch of nonsense score that nobody cares about anymore

People pride themselves with platinum trophies people are comparing like hey how many do you have I have this many, and people have guides to platinum trophies on websites whereas after the xbox one happened nobody cares about gamerscore anymore or achieves.

Bro thats because the xbox one regressed, The achievements were laggy as hell on the xbox one some weren't popping some popping like 100 in a row after i got the achivements they all popped at once.

WIth the ps4 things were popping on time, there was no lag, it was easy to track, xbox one put the achievements in there own app and made it a hassle.

Xbox one was a fuggin disaster for trophy hunters. PS4 evolved the forumula xbox one went back to square one. We shouldn't be nice to microsoft we should push them to make things better and evolve.

Maybe add a Platinum achifevemnt if you get all the achivements take it to the next level plz Microsoft were begging compete with sony.

Achievements are worst cause those diamond ones make such a stupid fanfare it's distracting and sometimes you can't hear the game.

@ProtossRushX: I would rather just move on to another game instead of just grinding it out to full completion. I have too many games in my backlog.

Lol, I still haven't received all the achievements I've earned in the mcc. I haven't played the game in years and an achievement I earned back then randomly popped up. The X1 was a much worse system than the 360 in terms of UI, Achievements working properly, update install times, and games in general. I've owned every MS console and have no problem calling out the systems fails which were many. I hope the series x is better.
