sales don't matter if they are favoring something you don't like, sales beacose the most important thing as soon as your system starts wining

FYI, Activison once stated that the 360 would outsell the PS3 and be the top selling console this gen. Now they are switching and saying the same thing EA said.

Personally, I dont care which sells the most, I am going where the games are for me, which is the PS3.

Like I said, the situation won't remain static, with big games and price adjustments coupled with holiday sales for both - umm Yeah, trying to predict future sales is a crap shoot at best.

IMHO, the 360 pro has only dropped $50.00 in all this time, MS holds the Aces. :)

I think Sony will stick with their 10y plan. Think about it, MS is expected to release a new xbox sooner than later, but doing so might send the wrong message to developers given their history of small cycles. If they don't announce it, given the thrend for the past year or so, 360 could lose a lot of marketshare to Ps3 and Wii.

Medium and small developers don't have millions to spend in R&D, licensing and devkits and can't afford 5-6 year cycles. Longer cycles provide more stead ground for them.

Or maybe my crystal ball is broken.

Who cares what Activision thinks! they dropped the ball when they decided to go with Spyro, Ice age game instead of brutal legend, ghostbusters, WiC and others.

and overpricing/delaying Rock band in Europe and Australia, and making Rock band 2 timed-exclusive to 360.

No cows still use sales to determine who's going to win, hence they always mention PS1 sold the most, Ps2 sold the most, so they think ps3 will aswell, therefor making it better

The Xbox 360 is nothing like the first Xbox and I wouldn't call one console a history

Well you can't just pull a number out of your butt and say "might be exagerating a little". We all know more than 2/3s of ps3 owners play games on it.
