Ads in Crackdown

So, I'm playing Crackdown here and I'm mid way through a rooftop race when I notice this ad:

* Pic was taken with a mobile phone so the the quality is hardly the best.

Has this ad always been there or has it been streamed in off Xbox live? i don't really mind if its the latter because 1: I think this movie looks awesome and 2: it adds a somewhat authentic feel (it is a city afterall). That said, I don't wanna see Pinks new album or some crap like that being sold to me as I play the game.

i see adds for "shooter" with mark walberg coming out next week.

I also see ads for sportsnet.ca - a canadian sports channel's website.

the u.s. probably gets diff ads.

It's crap, they shouldn't do those kind of things.  I really don't know about this game but if that's in single player there is no reason that ads should be downloading through your internet connection.billbradsky

because the system is streaming data in and out while you are playing a game while not even online.  That's invasion of privacy.

Its single player although I have it to set to allow a second player to join through XBL.

I also see those ads in rainbow six vegas on my 360, iunno they make the game look more real and authentice but I dont like the idea of watching ads while i play. for better or for worse they are here to stay.TrailorParkBoy
