[QUOTE="MikeE21286"][QUOTE="ReverseCycology"]XBL Silver which is free still has more features than PSN with the 2.4 update.
Now since you brought up the $50 for 13 months in the agrument, than you're talking about XBL Gold which still has more features than PSN with the 2.4 update. And these features includes real exclusive videos, exclusive demos, exclusive content, etc.
Now since Sony introduced Qore, $25 a year, just to play exclusive demos, exclusive videos, exclusive content, etc. it kinda debunks the agrument that the 2.4 update will automatically make PSN better than XBL Gold.
Sony gives you more options that was available since 2005, but at the same time, they took away content from the PSN, and the only way you can get these content is by subscribing to Qore, $25 a year.
Not every game will support these 2.4 update features, not every game will have online, not every game will use your PSN ID. When it comes down to it, it's still up to the individual devs if they want to include these features or not with the game. And I'm not the one who's gonna keep my fingers cross hoping that these games will support these features.
While you know 100% guaranteed, every game that's on the 360, will have all these features standard, out the box, without a doubt, no need in hoping and wishing.

That might be the most ridiculous thing I've ever read
You said it yourself, "Simple question.....not a simple answer probably."
I've noticed ever since this 2.4 update news, people tend to pick and choose what features they want to highlight in these PSN vs XBL threads.
I mean if you want to make a fair comparison, you have to compare everything, from what features are included to what content are available.
But what it comes down to is that XBL still have more features and provide more content than PSN.
The most important feature to have in an online service for consoles still is the online multiplayer. You can bet that if the XBL Silver offered online multiplayer, the vast majority of users would go with that plan, since there's the demos, some of the content and there would be the online gameplay. Then, there would be no arguing which service would be better, XBL Silver would really be the way to go.
Yet, MS chose to keep the online multiplayer (must i add, with no dedicated servers, only the low cost P2P play) one of the reasons to bring players to give them the $50 a year fee. Content is good, but it will only draw your attention for 15% of the time you have with a game, while the rest is with single-player and multiplayer (the vast majority of the time spent being in this last one).
