I thought it is overrated. Its one of the worst shooters I've played this gen. R3 might be worse though. I have trouble deciding which game was a bigger let down
I think the single player for Killzone 3 was great. One of the best FPS single players I have played in a while. I thought the multiplayer was crap. I thought they had a good thing going with Killzone 2 and screwed it up trying to be like everyone else.
Hell no. It was as quickly forgotten as Killzone 2 was. The single player was just boring, the multiplayer was uninspired, and the whole thing was a letdown.

Killzone 2 is considered a far superior game to KZ3 and has quite an active multiplayer community so I'm not sure where the "It was as quickly forgotten as Killzone 2" part is coming from.
The only thing its far superior in imo is the customasations of the games itself. You can make your ideal match idk why they took that out of KZ3 and made it into matchmaking. In strictly gameplay sense I felt KZ3 was the superior game.
It was Okay... not as good as KZ2. But it WAS the best FPS this year, mainly due to the competition not being so great... yes including your precious BattleFlop 3.
i would say that KZ3 is a great game. I have enjoyed playing it quite a bit. But underrated, no way. Tons of people play it, it is reconigiezed at being a good game. No game sells like COD, but does that mean that COD is the best video game out there? no. KZ3 isnt either, but its a great game. Singple play is blah. Multi is awesome.
Aside from BF3 which is god tier , KZ3 is the best FPS out there , IMO of course and considering MP experience only as both campaigns are average at best.I'd say gamespot was spot on , I don't see the big difference between an 8,5 and a 9,0 like most do here.
I had a great time with Killzone 3. My favorite shooter this year for sure. I loved multiplayer, I just wish there were more feelings of progression. Still a great game though. Can't wait for Killzone 4.
Not under rated in the least. The SP was boring. I don't really know what it is about Killzone.. I want to like it, I want to feel for Sev, Rico and the boys, but I just can't. I couldn't even make myself finish it. The first half of the game was at least interesting..then it just fell apart.
Honestly the only other shooter I played this year that sucked worse than KZ3 was MW3. Which I couldn't play more than 2 hours before I was bored out of my skull.
