I feel the same as well. Back then Gamespot use to rarely give games a 10 but now they keep giving them away too much.

Probably reviewing the cutscenes and progressiveness. Gameplay an afterthought. Game screams Steam sale.

You guys should check out El Paso, Elsewhere, it's the closest thing to Max Payne 1 and is sitting at overwhelmingly positive on Steam.

Hopefully it's legit good. Uncharted 4 received a 10.

As long as you have the general gist of the story (writer writes a story, forgets about it and it comes true to live) I don't think you even need to watch a single recap. Just go into the sequel fresh ;)

LOL its Remedy game. there gameplay has alwaays been near perfect

i know you didnot liked original AW but its gameplay was fantastic. the psychological thriller elements are very atmospheric.

AW2 set in dark world ooze atmosphere. plus with Remedies perfect gameplay help it.

Baldurs gate 3 got 10/10 which looks terrible mobile indie game.

sadly I wont be able to play AW2 until i upgrade. thats downside.

BG3 is factually GOTY (from every outlet wither they admit it or not). Even that Zelda kid couldn't defeat it.

@ghosts4ever: Just upgrade to a $500 Xbox Series X. No need for a $7k computer to play a game designed at 30fps.

Excellent! Loved the first game, even picked up the remaster, so will definitely be getting this game. Also really enjoyed Remedy’s other games Quantum Break and Control. Will get the XSX version.

@ghostofgolden: To be honest not many people understand the first games story (me included, but it didn't watch the majority of cutscenes) so I think you'll be ok.

@robertos: Actually I expect more console gamers will be buying this as Hermits (yourself included) won't be able to run this because you don't have a top of the line PC lol.

@last_lap: It was meant to be hard to understand. It was meant to left up to the users interpretation. That way would get people to discuss and talk about it more kinda how some like to do on horror movies.

Yep! I expect lots of cutscenes when I see a 10 rated game.

Can somebody please explain to me how one hypes a game so much, but doesn't have a system that can run the actual game. I don't get it.

I admit that I skipped all cutscenes and only read some of the pages of his manuscript that were collectable in the world. So I didn't delve into the story.

Probably just means it's Alan Woke 2. I'll check it, regardless. Hoping for the best.
