Alan Wake graphically superior to Uncharted 2....???

Ive been visiting numerous others forums and ive been seening alot attention on Alan Wakes visuals lately. Fanboys aside there is no denying this game lookings amazing. While they are tough to compare since one is bright jungle setting, the other is dark forest setting id still have to give the edge to U2.. But then again AW isnt out yet. AW lighting is out of this world though... Whats you guys take...?

The PC version would have looked better than UC2 but since it got cancelled or suspended the 360 version is not going to come close to UC2.Odrec

indeed it looks amazing.. but on par with U2? idk its too early too tell.

Since people say KZ2 doesn't look better than Uncharted 2 just because it isn't bright and colorful, then how can Alan Wake be considered better? lol

We haven't seen enough to compare yet.

Who care's if it looks better than U2 and also why does it need to? We know it looks damn good already. So lets hype the game!

We have only really seen a couple scenes of Alan wake, and it isn't always during the night, their are also day segments that make up a large part of the game, as well as the game is open world, while uncharted is linear.

Most Uncharted 2 fans don't know anything about graphics.

They often mistake elements of it's art direction for technical achievements. They rely on still images and base their conclusion on whats more appealing to the eye. That is not how you compare graphics. Maybe art styIe, but not graphics. That being said, I don't think Uncharted 2's engine is capable of running AW's world without taking a performance hit. In other words, it wasn't built for AW's gameplay.

They look similar, but it's less linear then UC2. UC2 looked best during set peices for obvious reasons. I doubt AW will have as much set peices, and they won't be on UC2's level.

Still, i'd say as a whole the games on par with UC2

Uncharted 2 looks better but Alan wake also looks good

from what i have seen AW has been downgraded, and it does not touch Uncharted 2 even KZ2 for that matter.InfiniteBlak

UC2 looks much better then alan wake and judging from alan wake gameplay vids it has pretty bad frame rate as well
