Alan Wake is the most undereated game this gen

even lost oddasy cant mach it.

i just finish this game and its amzing, 90% of the gamers that play it say that this is AAA game for them.

i dont know how it got only 85, this game is esaly 90-95 and one of the best games i even play this gen.

i hope that at lest it will gen the best stoy aword this year.

The most underated game in Gamespot, a clear9.5 that got 7.5

FF13 that was not even close got 8.5 and was a 100 times worst game

Still doesn't forgive the fact its only 6 hours long, and has some very bad voice acting at parts, or that some of characters felt out of place. Sure the gameplay is perfect however it doesn't forgive the fact that the game lacks a good amount of substance. If anything I'd still rate this game at an 8.8 for the gameplay alone.Lable1985

i eated a copy of alan wake. it wasn't the best meal ive ever eated and was way too expensive for such a small amount.

And FF13 was not a RPG at all, at least Lost Odyssey had a decent story, not horrid charatcers and cut scenes like FF13 and great setting, art too, FF13 was generic and battles was the only thing decent about it, but was not even remotly an RPG as FF7-8-9-10 or Lost Odyssey, with NPCs and towns etc

Took me 15 hours on easy, doing some good exploration

And the story, settingand atmopshere were some of the best in gaming so far, i found tons of substance in the game

Its a very good game with an excellent story, and a fantastic atmosphere. Combat wasnt bad either. Slightly underrated, but a solid 9.0 in my book. It was very easy though.

Yea completely and I mean completely disagree. FF13 is an great JRPG. I dont need towns with NPC to tell me they hate sundays.

Alan Wake was an interesting game in terms of "what score would I give it?". It's visuals were amazing to me, sound was great (a few scenes had some kind of cheesie dialogue), the gameplay was outstanding, and the story was compelling. That being said, the game lacked memorable moments. When I say that, I'm remembering some of the great moments in Resident Evil 4, like the segment in the cabin, or the mine cart, or the truck sequence. Not to mention the RE4 boss battles. Alan Wake failed to deliver anything like that. Also, Alan Wake was a bit disappointing in terms of enemy variety. There was only a handful of different enemy types. For the record, Alan Wake took me about 8-9 hours to beat (not 6 hours). It's longer than some people say. Alan Wake is still one of the better horror/action games I've played. I'd give it 8.8 or so as well.
