This is such a stupid theory. They are the Devs. They can turn on and off the HUD whenever the want. They probably just took 2 different screenshots.

No the graphics king bar is set to 1080p and that is Vertua Tennis3 according to cows and all the 1080p talk all gen. I declare no graphics king game on either console as the resolution and not the actual look of the game is the detemining factor alone. Going off this the 360 does have have a AAAA game called GTA4 as the PS3 version is sub HD and does not count as a next gen game.

This was the same guy (I think) who first said MGS 4 was sub HD. And English is not necessarily the only langauge in the world.

Graphics winner over Crysis Warhead. Gamespot said the reason why MGS 4 won was because of how every cutscene to gameplay transition felt seemless. Crysis already won 2007, it'd have been unfair making its expansion win when it still runs on the same engine (although slightly optimized) of a game whose graphics tech came out in 2007.

And the OP is a level 5 user, so he's automatically cow?

I really couldn't care less about resolution. I'm not that fussy over graphics unless it's on the PC where I need almost all settings maxed out ;)

And at least the scaling will be nice and easy with 1080p TV's since 960x540 scaled x2 is eaxtly 1920x1080.

I don't care why MGS4 won the award, im just reiterating the fact that it did win the award despite being sub-HD. And no, i never called the OP a cow. I was referring to the numerous cows who have posted this same information over and over today.

Almost everytime we hear a dispute resolved about the native resolution of any game, it is Beyond3D forums, and often Quaz51, that sets the record straight. For years they have been unbiased with 100% accuracy as far as I know. X360 fans can complain about fanboys who make a big deal out of this stuff, but you can say nothing about the integrity of the messenger.

Honest tech heads will trust their data analysis as being correct and unbiased far more than they will trust the average gaming site, including this one.

Game still looks good though. All fanboys are pathetic so I really dont see the point of these HD or not threads. Im starting to worry this game will be sub par in the story department. I watched the first 11 minutes of gameplay vid on youtube and the story already seems way too cliched. Getting a Secret Window vibe from the game so far. I really hope im wrong because this game is the reason thats really making me think about getting a 360.

I really hope this isn't true becouse if it is, woooow weak sauce is all i can say... Been waiting for this game for over 5years and that isn't a good news.silversix_

And this guys is actually NEVER wrong AFAIK, I just added "almost" as some sort of disclaimer against someone who''ll no doubt recall how instead of one game being 1280x720 he counted it as 1280x699. :P
