Alan Wake: Thoughts?

Are you guys excited about Alan Wake or does the game not interest you?

I think it's been a while since we had a really good psychological action thriller, and the game is being developed by the same people who brought us Max Payne which was a pretty good series I thought.

Is there anything in the same genre coming to other systems that looks as good/better than Alan Wake?

K, up in the top right corner of the window they should have a link that says "prefs".  Click it, and it will give you the options to do whatever the hell you want to your account, including adding pics or w/e.  Go under "images" and it will be called your "user icon".

This is the only game from the 360 that i want on the PS3. I was looking forward for it and then i was disappointed with it becoming 360 exclusive.

Oh well, i guess i'll have to live without it. I can't afford and i don't have the time for more than one console.

No it will definitely be released. Too much hype has been created and shown already, there have been presentations just showing off it's technology.

I can't wait. We could always use more horror games, and pretty ones at that :)

Alan Wake looks like a very mature game.

I have been telling my mum about it. She is a big fan of Steven King, I think she would really like it.

          I'm hyped and really like the sound of it so far - always good to see the tech envelope pushed and I believe A.W. will do just that ! :)

          It seems that 360 owners may just need a clone to help play through all these upcoming games - bring them on ! ;)

This is my most wanted game. This game reminds me a lot of the Johnny Depp film, "The Secret Window". BioShockOwnz

Oh yeah, it really does have that feel. This game is looking great, I'm hoping the next Silent Hill fixes up the controls because we need spooky games like these...there aren't that many coming.

I love "different" games, and this fits that description. You are a writer and you escape to a town to get away from everything, then in this town your book becomes reality, and you are the main character in the book you wrote.

When I first read that, I thought of "The Secret Window", it is very similar.
