[QUOTE="lucky_star"][QUOTE="jasonharris48"] That is just stupid. Survival Horrors along with RPGs (Non-MMO's)are the last genres that need online gameplay. As for the game being in development for a long time what do you expect Remedy is only made up of 40-100 members (I can't remember the correct amount). As for replay value we have no clue if the game has a lot replay value or not yet (that is just common sense the game isn't out yet).
Welcome to the "xbox generation". Just look at how games are scored this gen, if it doesn't have MP, its a flop no matter what genre. This isn't even my opinion its the critics, or casual gamers. Well they''re doing it wrong. Especially if they think a Survival Horror game needs to have multi-player to b good. Hell that didn't help Resident Evil 5 being a "AA" title. Personally I find adding co-op or any kind of multi-player element to Survival Horror only hurt the game in the long run (in most cases the devs do a awful job implemented it anyways) The online Co-op actually helped RE5 alot. Without it it would have been even worse than it is. Shevas AI was just too dumb and annoying, she was just in the way all the time wasting bullets. But i understand your point and agree, but sadly the xbox generation doesnt.
