http://nsnbc.me/2013/07/13/documents-reveal-microsoft-helps-the-nsa-spy-on-you/

Microsoft, the first tech corporation to be brought onto the PRISM program, has also been contributing encrypted information to the National Security Agency (NSA). Along with this data, the NSA was given access to cloud storage systems and Skype video calls by Microsoft.

It has been reported that the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) could request information with ease because the PRISM program is a team sport!

Documents obtained state that:

•Microsoft assisted the NSA in breaking encryption codes.

•Pre-encryption access was obtained for email accounts for Outlook and Hotmail.

•Microsoft cooperated with the FBI with SkyDrive which affected 250 million users.

•Microsoft and the FBI Data Intercept Unit (DIU) created aliases for email accounts to gain access to more information on users.

•After Microsoft purchased Skype, NSA had full access to the technology.

In response Microsoft PR said in a typical statement: To be clear, Microsoft does not provide any government with blanket or direct access to SkyDrive, Outlook.com, Skype or any Microsoft product. We take our commitments to our customers and to compliance with applicable law very seriously, so we provide customer data only in response to legal processes.

However, just after 9/11, the FBI began their data sharing relationship with Microsoft who gave unfettered access to surveying their customers to the federal government.

FBI agents were interested in customer email account information. Microsoft engineers were told to give over new user data to the FBI as it became available.Slides provided explain how the data mining program was conducted and how real-time surveillance of emails and stored content.

It has been revealed that in September of 2007, Microsoft was the first tech corporation to join PRISM, followed by Google and Apple.James Clapper, director of National Intelligence (NI), explained PIRSM program last month with the declassification of documents regarding the NSA surveillance initiatives as well as intelligence collections

Now consider this:

http://dailycaller.com/2013/06/07/new-xbox-by-nsa-partner-microsoft-will-watch-you-247/

Possible privacy violations by Microsofts upcoming Xbox One have come under new scrutiny since it was revealed Thursday that the tech giant was a crucial partner in an expansive Internet surveillance program conducted by the National Security Agency and involving Silicon Valleys biggest players.

One of the consoles key features is the full integration of the Kinect, a motion sensing camera that allows users to play games, scroll through menus, and generally operate the Xbox just using hand gestures. Microsoft has touted the camera as the hallmark of a new era of interactivity in gaming. What Microsoft has not promoted, however, is the fact that you will not be able to power on the console without first enabling the Kinect, designed to detect both heartbeats and eye movement.

Disturbingly, a recently published Microsoft patent reveals the Kinect has the capability to determine exactly when users are viewing ads broadcast by the Xbox through its eye movement tracking.

Put two and two together

10,000 is a little extreme. I would say 500 posts. But yeah it's ridiculous the trolls that can post.

The xbone has an even shittier launch line up, so I wouldnt be talking xbot. Hell, Killzone alone looks miles better then anything on the xbone!

But thats besided the point. What did that even have to do with anything! You are trying yo deflect in typcial shill fashion

Microsoft WAS one of the first to sign up for NSA's spying programs. Now consider Microsoft's constant shady history and the fact they are pushing a mandatory Kinect which is more then capable of spying. It doesnt take a genuis to put two and two together here.

And for the sheep who say its nothing to care about THEN why have Microsoft/NSA retaliated against those who were asked to sign but chose not to

"Jailed Qwest CEO claimed that NSA retaliated because he wouldnt participate in spy program" Read more: http://dailycaller.com/2013/06/13/jailed-qwest-ceo-claimed-that-nsa-retaliated-because-he-wouldnt-participate-in-spy-program/#ixzz2XEaDm2qW

And for the sheep who defend it and say why would they want to spy on you. You should have NOTHING to worry about etc..... Understand that there is a huge business of corps buying and selling user information. Look it up.

And regardless its an invasion of privacy so GTFO without that stupid "you dont have anything to hide so you should object to a clear invasion of privacy which is unconstituional"

I'm not here to talk or care about NSA... doesn't really have much to do with SW.

And yeah, Killzone looks better than anything on the X1... too bad it's merely an average shooter underneath its visuals. And too bad it's the only PS4 launch exclusive, unless you want to count that thing hated even by the official PS magazine... what's it called, Krap, or something like that?

Welcome to the modern world. What do you think they do with cell phones? They tracked them in secrecy for two years. Stop getting your panties in a bunch.

An article from July. And we were already discussing this back then.
