Aliens Colonial Marines GS review... 4.5

i bet this game would of been better on ps2 it wouldnt have all these lame ass cliches that destroy the fps genre.

I'm having a blast in MP! Some of the most fun in a long time to be honest, singleplayer is nice fun too but not great. 73/100. Great deal considering I got this, Diablo 3 , Tomb Raider Pre Order and Company of Heroes 2 for free :P

I want the Alien and Predator games handed over to Visceral and EA. Dead Space 3 is more Alien then this actual Alien game. That's really bad. To make it even worse I'm suggesting EA of all publishers/devs to take over something.Jebus213

avp3=noob gameplay

avp1 on pc the gameplay take more skills.

They just need to go back to it's roots.

in avp3 you can shoot out all the lights and you have flares i got a feeling that's missing from this game tossing the flares around seeing em light up the environment is cool.

This is a prime example of a game that should not cost above $40 at launch.

I read that as just Aliens. Don't care much for AvP

From the few levels I've played I'm actually having a little bit of fun with this game, it's just the game is nothing too memorable.

I think it should of at least got a 6.0.

yeah I agree, I think the shooting is pretty lame, the graphics leave much to be desired but there is some alien feeling here.

I would have preferred if they would have worked the motiontracker into the hud somehow, all too often you will get snuck up on when defending a location. This is on the harder difficulties I haven't tried normal.

I do like how long the levels are, they feel pretty big also for the most part.

AVP2000 has better multiplayer than this seriously takes more skills to play as aliens.

Nobody thinks it's screwed up you can crouch in avp2000 and 2010 you cant crouch?

All i wanted is avp2000 multiplayer WITH modern graphics if it aint broke dont fix it.

How did they make it so bad with the talent they had to make the game?
Bradley Thompson and David Weddle from Battlestar Galactic helping out, some good voice acting, some good musicians doing the score,etc.. but damn what a fail

Word is Gearbox took Sega mony for development and pimped Aliens out to a 3rd studio while they focused on Borderlands 2. Then tried to polish this turd when they were done with BL2. Gearbox is becoming very shady...they also let their crap 2nd rate studios do all the DLC for BL2.

Randy Pitchford is douche too. So glad I sold Borderlands 2 and stopped following him on Twitter just to get Golden Keys.

And Gearbox may not be godly, but Borderlands 2 and this crap are not even on the same planet....something is fishy here.

I wasnt interested regardless of score.

I would rather play a Survival Horror Aliens game than a Hadley's Hope Mod for Call of Duty.

Yeah, only people who like the game could possibly have played it.

but even after adjusting my brightness slider all the way down, the game wasnt dark enough to warrant using the flashlight. Dark environments are supposed to invoke terror, not boredom
