All gamers should own a Ps3 (56k warning)

i have a PS3 and yeah, it is a perfect hybrid of the wii and 360!

but some people don't like the price. and some people don't like to wait.

i had no problem with the price and im very patient.:D

I think most people would rather listen to multiple game developers that some random guy on a game forum. PS3 has the best specs. You are going to see graphically superior games on PS3 as far as consoles go. Get over it.

In a way, PS3 being harder to develop for is a good thing, it means we will not see the PS3 set it graphical power to soon in its lifespan. Just look at gears, most 360 games are underwhelming compared to it.

Wow, There another reason to buy a PS3....A its a multi-media mega machine :p, seriously though, it supports all the latest functionalities, such as Blu-ray, downloads, (i except that in cases XBL service is better, but it has allot more time to evolve) Aswell as social networks and user generated content...Im talking about Home, Little big planet and the ability to Mod games. 360 has neither.

The fact that Sony give me this along with a great line up of games, I'm not complaining ;).

Blu-Ray is not going to be a major factor for another 2 years. I realize that. But PS3 is a long term console. It will probably last on the market even longer than ps2 will. it's this long term mindset that gives sony a MAJOR advantage over MS and nintendo. the last gen war is still going on, and PS2 is still kicking gamecube and xbox in the face. Most people will wait until PS3 is down to 200 dollars or less to buy one. which will probably be in 2 years. That doesn't mean that sony won't support PS3 until then, seeing as how it's the 3rd largest game publisher in the world.

lol u guys most dev teams only use 2 cores os the PS3's cell (one PPE and 1 SPE ).

warhawk is using all 8 cores for floating point calculations and physics.

wait... wheres master chief... oooh riight hes on the 360... i think ill stay with the 360.

i am interested in somethings about the PS3, like heavenly sword, and GOW3...

With the left over money I have left which is usually 100-300 dollars, I put a third into my education, another third into emergency account, and the last third into miscellanious vacation/rainy day/videogame/polly pocket lol

Blu-Ray is not going to be a major factor for another 2 years. I realize that. But PS3 is a long term console. I see no value in a system that has an inferior GPU to the 360 and it's showing it's old age (the PS3's GPU) already. Keep waiting for your precious system to actually deliver on Sony's empty promises. In the mean time, I'll be playing loads of AA-AAA (and the better version of multiplats) titles on my 360.

you must have some pretty sad sources if you think a GM at a restaurant makes big bucks. GM's hardly make more (and rarely do) than a mediocre server/bartender. Being a GM is ONLY a step in going towards a better paying job. My wife is a teacher and she makes more than most restaurant GM's.

Your talking about hellfire right? that guy stopped posting, probably because we caught on to the fat that he talking BS. hes actually 23, its still possible for him to live the life he stated but very suspicious. His main point was also the fact that he can't afford a PS3...chances are it will be 360 price in time for Christmas.

Fact if the matter is, The PS3 is not affordable to everyone right now, but it will be in time. And thats when people will be able to take a slice of premium next generation entertainment.

Buy a PS3- because its really the screenshots that determine how good games are.

Sheepsexcuses are wearingthin here, there even bringing he wives into it (if these people are actually married and living in the suburbs not 12 year old kids..)
