[QUOTE="Demonjoe93"][QUOTE="bbkkristian"] I need to switch to PC, I'm not paying for ps+ or xblive.bbkkristian
I don't want to either. This game is the only game out there right now that I would pay to play online for. It's going to take more games than that. I'm not paying $60 a year or whatever PS+ costs just to play one game online.
Exactly, as an RPG gamer, both those stupid subscriptions are flat near worthless, except for a select few games. But it's not like either consoles have RPGs on them, so it's not like they have me interested. JPRG devs are moving to handhelds anyways. If you want RPGs you should have gotten a PC a looooooooooong time ago.
PC + handheld will be the ultimate combo.
Sony giving everything away for free. Be prepared for ads all over the PSN. They need the cash I heard.
GravityX
Sony will make billions a year off PS4 and PS+. I'm predicting 100 million lifetime sales at a minimum
Now if only people actually cared about KZ this would be worthy of news.
Scipio8
Most preorders of any exclusive so far. More PlayStation sales will equal more Killzone sales.
Pretty sweet and unexpected. The cynical industry-type in me thinks that these will end up being upscaled KZ2 and KZ3 maps.
The naive optimist thinks that for some maps that wouldn't be such a bad thing, that free is awesome, and that hopefully we get some original maps in this dlc.
I dont mind an upscaled Pyrrhus Rise and Saloman Market (or however u spell it lol). But please...no Radec Academy :sPretty sweet and unexpected. The cynical industry-type in me thinks that these will end up being upscaled KZ2 and KZ3 maps.

That is great news, mp DLC should be free, it should not be like Battlefield where that splits up the community from day 1 with preorder maps.
So it seems there will tons of free dlc maps after release!
IGN:
Today, during a behind-closed-doors presentation for Killzone: Shadow Falls multiplayer functionality, Guerrilla Games confirmed that the Sony-owned developer has extensive plans to support Shadow Fall post-release. That means that the company will unleash a slew of new maps after it launches, and all of these maps will be available completely free of charge.
