Almost a year and a half after launch, what are your thoughts on Kinect?

my thoughts on kinect are that i still use it more than my wii.... so its the best motion controller on the market.... but at this point, thats not saying much.

But im a bit PO'd there hasnt been better hybrid integration in normal games. I think forza used it for head tracking? i dont know, i dont play racing games. Mass effect 3 is using the voice commands, which could be kinda cool. But overall im a bit disappointed it hasnt been incorporated into more controller based games.

But it did replace my wii as the video game entertainment for parties, so for casual motion control its still the best. My Wii now resides in my bedroom strictly for netflix streaming.

I have no doubt that it is possible, I think anything is possible. I would just rather see it to believe it, than believe something that doesn't really exist.

Justin Beiber is always the top of the sales charts, but everytime you ask someone personally, "No, I don't listen to Justin Bieber, I can't stand him"!

Kinect is basically the equivalent of the music industry shutting down every artist except for Justin Bieber.

It's like owning only an Xbox 360 console is the equivalent of living in North Korea, and being forced to listen to Justin Bieber, and Justin Bieber only!

Everyone tries to escape North Korea, which is the equivalent of trying to obtain an PS3 or a PC.

Once you escape North Korea (obtain a PC or PS3), you will once again be free to listen to your favorite music again (play the games you liked before).

Here's another idea, if you hate the 360 so damn much, then why not sell it? I own all and game on all equally. If you are gonna bring North Korea into this, then I'll just say this. I only owned a PS2 last gen, so I was trapped in North Korea during that time. Now that I have obtained all this gen, I escaped North Korea and went to the land of the Manticores. Join us, we have cookies. What do cows have? Oh yeah, reliability from review sites and sales sites to defend their 'exclusives' (manticores don't believe in those).

I would never sell my Xbox 360, dude. Why do you think I have 2 of them? Party chat blows my freaking mind.

Plus, if I sold my Xbox 360 consoles, technically I wouldn't be a Manticore anymore. I had to buy all that Apple crap, along with the Microsoft, Nintendo, PC and Sony stuff in order to be a true Manticore.

I don't even like video games, I just wanted to be a Manticore.

The real question is, are you a true Manticore?

star wars kinect and disneyland adventures has me interested but its not enough for me to buy it.... sesame street is for kids so i was disspoint in that..

if they made godzilla kinect i would buy it :P
