[QUOTE="Danm_999"][QUOTE="Forensic-Klown"] [QUOTE="Danm_999"]Haze was simply the latest in a long line of PS3 titles that failed to meet its hype. There wasn't much argument it would be better on another console, just that it wouldn't be good.StringGuard
Err, haze Barley had hype...most actually thought low of it..if i remember.
Once the demo was released, sure. But there was certainly the throw-around of the term 'Halo killer'.
And look at the context. The PS3 was arguably the most hyped console in history, yet it's also been one of the most dissapointing in terms of exclusive library. Lemmings are jumping on this more than any specific criticism of Haze (because obviously, most of them haven't played it).
And this doesn't happen with Wii owenrs or 360 owners? :lol:Here's the issue. We all, ALL OF US, use screenshots to base our opinion of a game early in development. And, yes, its stupid for anyone to do. Buuuut, we all do it. Why is it that PS3 owners catch all of the flak?
Yes, early on, Haze looked great. It looked to be bnear Crysis quality and matching the graphics of Halo. That is how it appeared in the screenshots. But, oh, how misleading that was. Just like it always is.
No, it doesn't. They aren't operating under the same context.
The 360 and Wii libraries have not been constant dissapointments in exclusives. The context is completely different.
