Alright, this is getting rediculous.....

The Xbox 360 Elite is here, and it's not going anywhere. Now first off i have a question too ask everyone. Why are you being so hypocritical? This time last year, everyone was saying "well the Xbox 360 isn't next gen because it only has a 20gb harddrive and no hdmi". Well guess what, that is no longer the case. But now everyone says "this was a horrible move by Microsoft, they are screwing there early adopters". No, Microsoft is not screwing there early adopters. Can the early adopters still play Xbox 360 games? Yes. Can they still use XBL and download content on XBL? Yes. Can they still do everything Xbox 360 Elite owners can do? Yes. The only thing they won't have is HDMI. Which does what for gaming again? It's not like adding a new gpu too the system or adding some more ram. It's not like you can't still play games. You all complained for 2 years about the features it didn't have. And now you complain about the features it does. What gives?

I bought a premium 360 6 months ago, and if a hadn't bought one yet I would still go with the premium. The elite isn't worth the extra money to me, I don't need HDMI and I definatly don't need the big harddrie, specially when I have mine on a network.freshfighter83

in Elite 120GB looks like its only 80 bucks

in the separated 20GB HDD is 100 bucks.

You cannot make people a little more patient almost everyone wanted to play 360 and this makes people forget wat MS has to offer on the table then later on they can get a better deal with less money? that is ridiculous.

it clearly shows that in Elite you get 100HG more than the Premium for the price of just $80 more, while a lot of people already bought 20GB HDD add-on (the seperate one) for $100

Hey, I love my 360 but this does kinda suck. If they take this too far it will end up being like a pc. That is where the console is better than a pc, everyone has a level playing field. Gamers, Devs, they know that if I make a game for Xbox 360 more than likely it is going to work with every 360 out there. That means they can spend more time developing the game for the system instead of testing it with this card that card this cpu etc... All I have to say for all game console companies is pick a sku, make it somewhat future proof, and stick with the damn thing. I don't want to have to pick between the noob edition, middle class premium, or the mercedes benz elite. It's stupid. Just make it play games.

I don't mean to make it sound generic, but the SNES came in pretty much one SKU. They did a revision of it but it didn't add any extra features. They are kinda taking it too far. All I am saying is you can't make everyone happy so just make one good sku, and don't worry about what everybody wants to add on to it after the fact. Customization kinda belongs more to the PC world, and I am happy with it that way. I don't want to worry about it, or be envious of someones HDMI port...

What you posted seems like I bought Premium doesnt mean I dont want elite and its features, actually i do since in the beginning but then ELite wasnt there as a choice, now its gonna come out. what do i do buy another one to get the features? heck no.
